Hi, I joined this yahoo group, its alot of fun and wanted to share the opportunity with other direct sales moms looking to network and make sales from othe custumber service reps.See below!

Welcome to the Swap Meet for working Moms! If you are involved in Direct Sales, Home Party Planners, etc., then this is the place for YOU to swap/shop your goods with other working mom's around the world!

Everyone will be placed into groups of 6 people and there will be a designated Consultant of the Month (COTM) each month. By signing up for this swap you are agreeing to buy from your COTM each month, as well as having the opportunity to sell as a COTM in your designated months. There will be a monthly minimum purchase of $10 (before shipping & tax) from everyone in each group.

We will also have special days during the month for Open Advertising and Recruiting Opportunities. You may swap product for product at any time of the month regardless if you are COTM.

If you join...tell Gina Jennifer Mault Referred you! Thanks

This can be good, but do see if they have a clause on dropping out. I've tried this before and everyone dropped out after they had their turn. It was always "money's tight, I can't be a part of the group anymore" and so consultant 3, 4 and 5, didn't do so well.

Best of luck!

Its been a positive experience for me. I feel good too as I am shopping from other COTM for christmas. If I have a problem making my orders I can go inactive until I can resume. Email Gina if you have other questions:

I got this message in my e-mail and what seemed funky/suspicious to me was that once you sign up, the first month you have to purchase from the owner of the yahoo group (can't remember her name) - a tupperware consultant - to "show good faith." You can't look to see how many members are in there or whatever, so how do you know it's not justone consultant trying to sell a bunch of her stuff?

I really don't mean to offend anyone, that was just my initial reaction..I suppose I'm a little wary of people, huh?

I started one of these groups for consultants/reps. in Maryland.

Members will not be placed into groups and there will be no consultant of the month - you just buy from whoever you want.

The minimum monthly purchase is $10 (before S&H). Members can drop out.If they receive a sale in the month they intend to drop out they need to recipricate by making a purchase before they leave - no grabbing sales and running out.

I think it's a fun way to try to earn some sales on the side. I love my product, but sometimes need tupperware or candles or Avon and I think this is a great outlet for exchanging sales.

For more details see my Yahoo group at http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/mdpartysalesswap/. I'm hoping this will be to the benefit of all who join. It's a tool to help each other succeed.

Thanks,
Loretta

kim i got that one too and thought.. what a way to boost her own sales! there are a lot of people in it, but i'm not buying from the owner just to show good faith. for whatever reason i didn't like that, but i've beenin very successful groups with no drops
