Ok, I got on the phone again tonight. Oh, I dread it, but I know that it's good for me. So tonight I got four machines and two no's. The way I see it, I've got less than 7 more no's until I get my yes, as per the 1 out of 10 rule. So I actually got no business tonight....zero....zippo...zilch. But holy cow do I feel good!!! I just read the book Eat That Frog, and the author is so right! When you tackle the task that causes you the most discomfort and you complete it, it's like a natural high, almost euphoric. I am so proud of myself for getting through these calls when I planned them.


So to all of you, challenge yourself to find one task in your business that could make the biggest long-term impact for you. Find it. Plan it. Do it. Your increased self-confidence will help you do even more than you ever thought possible.

So true! I am proud of you! It is hard to make yourself do what you fear. I have not read "Eat That Frog". I will have to check it out.

I hate the phone, too, but I do get the same rush when I've stepped outside my comfort zone and just done it! At a training I attended they told us about a girl who hated phone calls, too, but made herself do them. She printed up a sign and taped it to her phone. The sign said "The only thing standing between you and success."It kind of helps put things in perspective.http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif
