I am almost full for November and December. When should I start booking for the new year? I already know the hostess incentives but am hesitant to tell people because I could use a few more shows for this year.

I have already started booking for the new year. Some people don't want to try to squeeze in a show before Christmas, so they are booking for Jan. I say just leave it open, if someone wants a show before Christmas, Great!, if not then let them have Jan dates and have a good Christmas knowing your new year is full of business!

When you are booking parties, watch for those guests that say "not
until after the holidays" and book them now, for January. Remind
them that if they book now, get you their guest list, and have
everything in place they won't have to worry about it until the week of
the party(and they can relax during the holidays)! I am going to
be focusing on booking January parties next month, but I am going to
require that I get the guest list within three days to hold the date
they choose.

....Plus, there's no harm in saying that you know there is going to be something extra-special for January, without giving all of the details at this moment.
January can be great month, and when you book more events in January, it seems to set you up for a good Spring/Summer business.
