I am new here, and just love all the info. I saw someone talk about using 'paint pots' for night cream. I thought it would be good to share tips and sources for extras we use.
I got some cool stuff at ACT from Paron business aids
http://www.paronbusinessaids.com/enter.html (http://www.paronbusinessaids.com/enter.html)
they have little plastic snap lid thingies that are great for salt scrub samples. and the plastic paint pot things. I have been putting salt scrub, body butter and little sachets of the bath salts in the RE9 sets so they can sample the holiday line as well. IT has worked. I also took the paint pots to my show on Sunday so I could scoop out some samples for people to try before they buy. It was nice to not be limited to the samples ARbonne gives us.
I gave one lady the pampermint two step in the paint pots and she used it when she got home and called the next day to order!
ANyway, any other good tips???

Hey there! I'm just wondering which ones you bought? Like, what size
would be a good size to put our samples in, like you did the salt
scrubs? That's a great idea!! Did you use the 1/4 or 1/8 oz size?
Thanks!!

I got the 1/4 oz size it holds one scoop and seals tight. I still put it in plastic ziplock just in case! They are like 12/$3.75 I think...
They also have postcards and other stuff.some geared towards mary kay, but most is pretty generic

HMMM.... I am not repackaging for sale, just for trial samples. All the people at ACT were going crazy for the things, and there was an NVP behind me in line buying a ton of them and talking about all the ways she uses them. guess I will check on that...

Arbonne products may only be sold in their original packages. Consultants shall not repackage, re-label, or tamper in any way with any product packaging.
that is what it says...it specifically says it can only be sold in original packages. Doesn't say anything about samples, what do you think? I know I read the policy manual, but I keep learning new things I am not supposed to do smileys/smiley9.gif

Oh, maybe I saw you there Whatdo you look like?smileys/smiley36.gifWasn't it packed?
There was a small conference room set up with all sorts of goodies. It was at the base of one of the escalators on the first floor, off the lobby. Which lobby, I can't tell you. Did you see the "designer handbag sale" It was in the other building than that one. They had tons of stuff and I brought home a catalog and shared it with other consultants. I know a gal who is doing a booth at a country club ladies night out and is making salt scrub samples for them to take....along with the RE9 sample packs. seems like it should be okay if Arbonne doesn't make samples of certain things for us to make our own???

Oh I heard about that place. My NVP (who I am good friends with) was telling me that Arbonne was in a battle with them. They were telling people they were with Arbonne. Something about the stuff wasn't approved by Arbonne and they couldn't say it was.. I am not saying that is what they said to you.. they did to a girl on my team though.
As for samples I figure we have a 45 day guarentee they can try if they don't like it then ok.. Thats me.. My mom did little sample cups way back 15 yrs ago. To much work for me.. smileys/smiley36.gif
As for what I look like it is on my site.. I am bigger now though.. Pregs. You may have seen me waddleing about. With a little shorter hair. I met so many nice women there. It was like NTC.. although I like that better.. I remember when a 100 was a big group to get together.. Ahh that was crazy..
Anyhow talk to you soon

I understand about the guarantee, but if they return it can affect volume, etc, and I often squeak by so it is too much of a pain to return, and I end up buying it back at my own expense. I would rather do samples and let them try it. And it usually leads to sales.
How pregnant are you??

I was induced with all my babies, and it was kind of nice being able to pick a day, and pick who I wanted to deliver, the midwives and doctorsin my practice rotate days, and the one I liked best was on Mondays, so I picked those days and was happy to have that option.
Best of luck, and take care!!! March will be here before you know it!

Yep I am going for DM this month and next.. I am thinking of Area before the baby comes..
There is only two doctors in my group so I love both but I stick with my main. The advantage of picking the day.
