How do you even get in the door to the school. Who do you contact? I've been considering doing this, but don't know who to contact. My 1st grader has a male teacher this year (he looks like Christopher Atkins from the Blue Lagoon - Blonde curly hair and bright blue eyes and very cute.) anyway - he isn't married, so I couldn't ask him, but I'm thinking of sending a letter to her kindergarten teacher that was wonderful. Also she was in a special reading class so I'm thinking of doing an appreciation for preparing her so well for 1st grade. Would you send it directly to the teachers or to the principal? Help?

Maybe the school secretary could help you out with that, or at least put you in contact with themost appropriateperson?

Usually the principal or vice principal but someone else said to send a letter so that the secretary can tell them about it. My experience has been tha tonce you tell the gatekeeper that you want to pamper them she gets excited and then you can usually book because they hold ALOT of weight with the principals. Who said it isn't the secretary that keeps the school on track.

I sent out some letters to some local school. I addressed the letters to the Principals. I went on the school district's website and looked up the schools that were close to me. I got their address and who the principal was and sent the letters addressed to the principal of the school. I have heard back from one of the schools. The person that called me referred to the letter I had sent to the principal. We have been playing phone tag ever since.
I hope this helps you.

I just booked two schools last week. I went in and asked to speak with the principal. Both of the principals were very open to the idea and booked me on the spot.
Tell them you want to pamper their teachers on their planning hour and make them feel special.
Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm going to work on my letters tonight and send them out tomorrow. There are5 elementary schools 1-5/6 1-7/8 and 1 highschool in my town.
I'll let you know how it goes. No one in my town wants to book a spa, so maybe this avenue will work better.
