Hi ladies! Hope you don't mind me stopping by for a question.

I have no idea what to do with these candles I have. I have 'inherited'
a big closet full of Vance Kitira candles. Pillars, Globe, etc. They are
really cool looking. Not scented, but very decorative.

I like ebay, but how would I sell this on ebay? As a huge lot?
Catagoried lots? I don't have much time, as I have my Passion Parties
business and two little girls, but I would love to get some money for
these.

Any ideas???

I would try ebay a few together and offer the option of buying seperately????? I don't think anyone would want a huge lot and if they do they can buy all the little packages together. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

I, personally, wouldn't sell them individually. eBay fees could get pretty high if they didn't sell. I would probably add some decorative touches and sell them as separate groupings with a mixture of different shapes.

But then again, depending on your starting price, someone may want a large lot to seperate and resell. You never know what someone is looking for on eBay. Edited by: MiaBellaFreedom

HI Pascale,
I sell on Ebay alot and I have noticed thatfor melots go the best. I was trying to eliminate the stock I had from Afforable Luxuries andI sold a bunch of votives in one lot and it sold pretty nicely. I sold some tins and votives in another lot, and it sold nicely too.

You said you have pillars...I would either sell all the pillars of one size in one lot or sell a group of different size pillars. I would be creative with my lots and of course start the bidding off low.

Also ...do an Ebaysearch on the type of candles you will be sellingto see what others are selling.

Havefun selling that closet full: )

Hi, I'm new to the candle business but I was thinking, since you have a lot of candles, maybe you could make some gift baskets with a variety of candles.

I'm sure the kids would have a blast helping you make them. Then maybe you could try ebay with those baskets. :)

Good luck!

Gift baskets are a good idea, as well as craft shows or some local markets.
