Hi Christine-

I am fairly new to Mia Bella but I can tell you that I researched every apsect of this business as well as other candle companies before deciding to join.

Mia Bella offered everything I was looking for incandle companyfor my home business.
1) The ability to create an income without doing home parties was on the top of the list.(home parties are optional)
2) The "family" atmosphere is very inviting and welcoming
3) Knowing I can pick up the phone at any time and actually speak to the owner/founder of the company.
4) The ability to create a lucrative residual income by introducing others to the opportunity and to a product they can't help but love.
5) The flexibility of owning my own business and running it the way that suits me without all the restrictions.
6) Leading and teaching my own team.

There are so many more reasons, I could go on and on.....

While other candle companies may (or may not) offer everything above....the product sold me above anything else. In my honest opinion, no other candle comes close. I have sampled and burned them all. (even those you mentioned)

If you'd like more info, please don't hesitate to contact me. (or any other consultant, as they are all very knowledgable and helpful as well)

Also, if you look at these other companies.....I don't really want to compare being it may look like I am somehow bashing.......

I think you will see there are many differences in candle quality, the company, and commission. If you email me and let me know what specific things youd want in a company I would be happy to point you in the right direction!!!!

The differences that I see are in the product, shipping times, and commissions (if you come in with COTM, you have 100% markup).

I have not been hindered one bit by not having "online ordering" available, and I have to admit to making more profit here, and I'm pretty new and got involved for the fundraisers.

I initially placed my first case order because I wanted full size (unburned) samples available to show for fundraisers, so Iannounced to friends and co-workers that I'm getting ready to put in a case order and let me know if they want any. I had orders and payment that paid for the entire case upfront (had about 4 left over from that case - sold all but one of those from people inquiring about them sitting in my office).

I made the same announcement today, and I have MORE orders thanI did last time - may only have 2 extra (which I know will sell). I also know I will have at least two full case orders from co-workers wanting to buy an entire case to give as Christmas gifts - those orders I will probably have in November once they figure out what scents to give. I have a couple inquiries about the COTM club from all this as well.

Hi Christine,

Welcome to the board. I am glad you stopped by and visit with us.

What is the difference between these 3 companies. They are all different. I have been a rep for Partylite and of course Scent-Sation. I can only give you feedback on their two comp structures.

With Partylite, there are is only one way to earn and that is with home parties. You also only earn a certain % from your sales. When I left it was 25% and you had to wait for your check to come from the company. There was not instant cash unless you had an inventory.

With Scent-Sations, there are so many different ways in which to build your business. There are no home parties require to earn any type if income unless it is something you want to do. You have to option to do fundraisers, retail to individuals or shops, sponser others in to the business, or craft shows and fair. We have the ability to earn an immediate income by retailing (making 100% profit). So there is no waiting to get you business up and running. And can I say that our candles are just AWESOME. They are truly the best I have ever smelled!

Of course I am bias but Scent-Sations just offers so much more than Partylite ever did for me.

I hope this helps you in your quest for the right company for you. Please feel free to ask anymore questions that you may have. We are all definatly here to help you! smileys/smiley4.gif

Many Blessings,

Natalie

Hi Christine:

I too am with Mia Bella and don't have anything to really add from what the other said about it as I don't know enough about the other companies. I am a wholesale buyer with Arbonne and have loved the products since 1998. I love their products because they are so natural and don'tuse animal products. I came across Mia Bella Candles because I was looking for a natural, clean burning candle and found them to be incredible. I think this company would be a great addition to your Arbonne business.

Best of luck to you in your business.

Barb

Hi Christine:

The cost is $39.95 to join the Candle of the Month Club. For this you get a 16 oz jar candle and 12 votives in a new scent each month, a Bella bar soy soap, and your own website. There are no other monthly or yearly quotas or renewal fees.

They will probably have online ordering in the future. I will be going to the Fall Fling this weekend and will find out all the new products and other things going on.

I don't think online ordering is that important. Most people are not going to want to pay S&H for one candle. I much prefer retailing in person and through craft fairs.

I'd be happy to answer any further questions.

Christine,

Barb answered about how much it is to join candle of the month......also there is an option to join as an associate distributor. As for online ordering it should be available right around the corner. I hope you join us!!!!!!smileys/smiley2.gif

Hi Christine,

Many people are hesitate about joining our company because we do not currently have online ordering for customers but I have found that it can be very beneficial to my business. I have gotten to know each and everyone of my customers because I am building true and solid relationsips with them. I absolutely love it. When people order from you, they simply email you want they would like to order. From there, you can have them paypal you the money or send you a money order or personal check. So, do not worry so much about the online ordering. It has not stopped my customers from ordering at all.

Many Blessings,

Natalie
