How many of you are actually dropping off the full Re9 set to do the REsults approach? What are you doing with the sample packs?
Word has it that we shouldn't actually be dropping off the FULL set because we are responsible for the integrity of the products. We should be using the sample packs as our drop offs............(?)Edited by: myarbonne

I use the full sets. I always wipe down w/anti-bacterial wipe & clean up after each trial. Mine have always come back in good shape! I'm pretty particular about who I drop off with. I haven't had good luck with the samples. I am sending out about 5 or 6 today (via mail) to out of town friends & family. What has happened to me is that people don't end up trying them, they sit in the drawer, or nevereven make it home. With the full size, they know you are coming back! I think that Arbonne has to take that approach since it has SO MANY consultants! Unless someone deliberately tampers with the bottles, I don't see how they can become contaminated.

I use the full set also, minus the night creme. Then, depending on the person, I will put some in a paint pot. Samples just don't work as well.
I also always wipe everything down when I get them back. When this system started there were some consultants who were doing things they shouldn't have, like selling the demo set to the person after it had been in rotation. Obviously you can't sell a customer the demo you gave them unless they were the first person to use it. You need to order them their own set & take the demo set back. And some weren't sanitizing them inbetween drop offs. So Arbonne has to put that out there b/c there are so many cosnutlants & they can't control everyone & know what everyone is doing.

I just started doing the results approach. Here is just one example. I gave a full set to a lady last weekand she told me how great and different she thought that approach was. She is in cosmotology and hates using sample packets. She said they are messy and people hardly ever open them. You as the consultant just need to make sure the Sets are in great condition and clean. The only one that can be contaminated is the night cream. I put this in a small paint cup w/ a lid. The ideal situation would be to use a brand new set and hopefully they will want to purchase. Then, they keep that set and you order a new one for yourself to hand out. Of they don't want it, so disenfect it and pass it on. In the end, it is your business and you do what is comfortable, either sets or samples.

So far I am distributing sample packets to family and friends. I just started this month and can't afford to buy an entire RE9 set. I have given out 10 in the last few days and I have followed up with all 10 the next day via email with some tips, info, etc. just so I keep myself on their mind. I try to create a sense of urgency like, I really need them to try the samples and give me feedback ASAP so I know whether or not this business is for me, sort of thing. I think if you state exactly what you need from them and what to expect from you, it helps so they take it seriously and see that you are running it like a business.
I'll give an update on how this is working next week. I really can't afford an RE9 set right now, but I also can't afford to take no action, so if I sell just one set from these 10 samples, I'll be happy b/c it's a start!
Oh, and I signed up as a wholesale buyer and purchased a few items from the RE9 set after just trying a sample pack and never seeing the full size bottles, so samples alone can work. I do plan to eventually be able to rotate full sets, but for now, samples will have to do.

I use the REsults approach using full RE9 Kits. I think samples are good for those you don't fully trust. I've had one bad experience when I gave someone a new bag and they returned it to me half full.
I also wish that Arbonne had sample packs of the night cream. Then you could add this to the gold bag instead of the full jar. People tend to overuse the product not realizing that it's super concentrated.

I also use the full size set as a demo, excluding the night creme. I always sanitize between drop-offs and I include a sample pack so that they can use the night creme from the sample. Then when I pick up the set, I leave them the sample pack to keep using until their set comes in. I also try to be selective who I give the set to and use sample packs when in doubt, but I must agree with everyone that the set works much better than sasmples. It is nice for them to see the full size but also nice for them to see the amount to use because it is concentrated and with the pumps ther is no guess work, just one pump(or 1/2 if they tend to be oily.

Okay, two questions:
1) What do you sanitze the bottles with?
2) I know it's a numbers game. So how many actually purchase the RE9?
Okay, I lied, 3 questions.
3) Can you sell the components separately?

I sanitize with alcohol and then anti-bacterial wipe.
For me, almost everyone purchases something, and I'd say 1 in 4 purchas the set, but I must confess that I haven't had many appointments to go over the flip chart. I think this would be better.
Yes you can sell seperates. As I said, almost everyone that tries purchases something, on average 3 items. I offer the w/sale accouont, especially if they are ordering at least $100 retail. I am strictly trying to build a team and get volume. hth

Ok....the reason I asked is that my NVP recently came back from an NVP meeting in Laguna Beach.....and apparently we shouldn't be using the full sets as it does compromise the products regardless of if they are in a pump or not (not sure how). Anyway- it is a compliance issue and she instructed us to only use the sample packs going forward. We bring the full set with us when we do the drop off so they can see what they would be getting...then if they want to purchase we give them the whole set at pick up.
I guess the home office is concered that because we are growing so quickly other competitors may have scouts out there trying to find us out of compliance and this is one way they can snag us.
If you have an NVP that went to the meeting a few weeks ago, I would check with them!
