I just received a message from a school and I need to call them back. I have never done a Teacher appreciation spa this is very new to me, but I wanted to give it a try.
When I call them back what kind of information should I give them? Anyone who's done these before, please let me know.

Maybe I didn't make it clear enough about what information I am needing from you ladies.
What products should I demo at a school spa for the teachers? What information should I give the contact person about what I will be doing during the spa or what they should expect?
If anyone had done any teacher appreciation spas and is willing to share what they did and any information with me I'd be really greatful.

Jennifer, sorry, I didn't respond because I've not done these before and I figured others would have more experience.
I've spa'd my kids teachers in my own home for teacher appreciation and now my daughter's second grade teacher is one of my Unit VIPs!
I would ask if you could have an unused room, light scented candles, dim the lights, have spa music playing and schedule teachers every half hour.
Circle chairs and place hand towels on the ground. Do SOH station as soon as they come in and then have them do feet right after with bags and socks. Warm neckwrap and let them wear it while they do SOH and explain they will earn one for free simply by scheduling a complimentary spa.
Once feet are done, pass out eye patches and do relaxation exercise for remaining time. Leave 5 minutes to spare, have a handout with only those products you demo'd and their prices should they want to buy on the spot. But really, I would use the opportunity to tease them into scheduling a spa with you right then and there. Maybe have a basket of goodies that if they schedule with you that day, they can pick out one little mini.
Oh, another great item to demo is the NEW Indian Peppermint Pulse Point Lotion. I have sold this to every teacher that comes to my spas. They love to put it in their desk drawer for a quick treatment during their day.
HTH:)

Just curious, if you are in a large room with a circle of chairs, where do they wash their hands for the SOH?

If you are in a room without a sink, you can bring (2) 5 gallon paint drums or trashcans (clean of course..lol). Fill one with clean hot water (janitor closet usually has sink with a hose) and bring a pitcher that you can dip to fill with water, then have them hold their hands over the empty trashcan and rinse. Sounds kinda complicated but it works:)

I did 2 spas for teachers last month and we did them in the teacher's lounge which had a microwave and a sink. I turned the overhead lights out and they had a small lamp in there. Even that change madethem relax when they came in. We started with SOH and then I did lips, eye pads, and the detox washcloth. A few groups were really into it and we did one of their feet so could see the difference. I led them through the relaxation and finished with a drawing for 2 minis. That was key for me because I personally didn't want to appear as if I came into their workplace to sell them something. I also had invitatations for "a complementary Home spa" I followed up with everyone a week later just stating that I hoped they enjoyed their spa time at school and let's schedule your complementary spa! PM me if you have further questions.

I usually do these in the teachers lounge...make sure you tell them its a spa for the teachers because some schools only think you want to set up a table and sell....I've run into that a couple of times and that's not a good setup most people just stare at you. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif
But I usually fax or email a flier that says what they will be experiencing that day...10 min stress break....warm herbal neck wrap, Moisturizing hand treatment, lip treatment and eye pads and relax for a few minutes. I don't personally do the feet because of the slippery effect of the foot creme when they go back to work. I would now also do the pulse point lotion as it is aneasy add on product.
