Well my dad asked if I could do it. I loved the idea so much, I'm offering it to all my clients... What I plan to do is create 4 baskets with 4 different themes. Each basket will contain 12 full size products. Each one will be indivually wrapped. On the card it will say "On the 1st day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, <product name>" then the next one is "On the 2nd day of Christmas..." and so on. 12 days prior to Christmas, the guy will give one wrapped product and then 11 days before, another, 10 days before, another, so on until the last one on Christmas day. I also decided to create a man's basket (they're harder so I only could create one basket for them). Most men don't know what type of skin care products to get, so they like things made out for them already. I already got 4 people interested and I haven't even advertised yet! lol... I offer a 25% discount off the retail price if they buy the basket. I also plan to put some coffee and a coffe mug or a candle for effect. What do you all think? Any suggestions or comments?

I love this idea! I had already planned on offering wrapped holiday gift sets, but the 12 days sounds wonderful. I can't wait to see the new holiday products to start getting my plans together.

Last year some of the women on the board had really cute names for gift sets they put together. If enough people share ideas on this post, I will put together a holiday file for the website.

Here is the only gift set idea I can remember from last holiday season

Cookies and Creme - small pack of oreos and a small hand creme wrapped up in a holiday mug
However, This year we could do a bigger Cookies and Creme set with the sugar cookie SOH, and a hand creme

I individually wrapped each product. I also made special tags - On the front was the product name and on the back was a brief description of what to do with it since many women receiving the product were new to using BC. For example, I made sure to tell them to cut the eyepads in half. I sold 5 to guys at work last year and they were all SUPERHERO'S in their homes! I am hoping to go to some men's organizations to try to sell the holdiay baskets, etc.

This is a great idea - I need to start thinking about how I can get this to happen.

Something interesting I've found is that men spend more money on women than the women will on themselves. This is awesome!

I have not been around long enough for xmas but need big numbers in dec. to hlp with DIQ, do you guys send letters to past peoples husbands? Does anyone have a copy of what they send? Love the 12 days idea. how can Imarket that?
do you make up baskets to take to spas and then take orders?
and at booths do you take orders or have it all on hand?

I was going to do a flyer, but I like your basekt to show and have people order it! I'm going to do that. I will start with the flyers 1st day of November and ask for the orders by the last week of November to get their order in time. :-) You've been with BC less than a year and already doing your DIQ? My husband works at a car dealership and I was planning to go in to try to sell some baskets closer to Christmas (since we all know men leave it until the last minute!!). I will definitely do this and maybe get my hubby to leave a flyer with reception about it!

I love that SUGAR COOKIE THEME.
Do the Sugar Spa and SUGAR FOR MY SUGAR. or a Sweet treat for you my sweet. I know kinda corny but hey if it works as a theme.
Maybe do the Margarita as happy hour = happy momma (wife, girlfriend, etc).

How do you gift wrap the twelve days of Christmas? Do you use decorative cello or boxes, bags???? Any ideas???

What I did was gift wrapped them with Christmas wrapping paper along with a tag that had a cute saying like for the Brown Sugar Lotion "Sweets for my Sweets", or the Foot/Leg Scrub "I owe you a foot massage". Stuff like that. Then on the back of them have numbers of each day so they know which day to place them out and where. :-) My dad did this for my mom and my mom said she realized what was going on after day 3 and would jump out of bed to look for her gift each morning. :-)

Heard about this idea today! Have a Champaign and Roses Spa (sparkling grape juice/chocolates for Spa at Works - do the express spa for after work spa's. Perfect gift for Boss's to give to their employers. Hand out a single rose to each worker (from the boss) and have sparkling grape juice (so they don't drive under the influence) and have a relaxing 30 minute spa-from you and the boss!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif
