I know that some of you believe one person one business and no intermixing when you do have more than one business. Well, I have always kept my businesses separate, but since I moved to a small town, I think that putting them all in one "spot" is a better route. I have gotten a website created to explain all my businesses--and also have one business card to point them to that website. I call my biz Lucassidy Parties (it really has been the name of my business all along on my biz license).
Would you mind giving me some feedback? Here is my website:
www.lucassidyparties.com (http://www.lucassidyparties.com) I think I will definately continue to market separately online, but locally I think it works for me to combine. When someone wants to order Noah's Ark, they can also see that I do other things, you know?
Thanks for you thoughts!
Angie

Looks cool Angie! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gifAs long as the individual companies don't have policies whereby you cannot do this, I'd say that it looks wonderful! Sometimes companies don't allow separate, personal websites; particularly if they are linking ones, and/or combined with other companies. Just a thought; but I'm sure you checked into this first.
Congrats on the hard work!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif

Angie,
The site looks very nice. The only thing that I would change is on the Initial Outfitters page, your links are yellow and difficult to read. Other than that, great job!

I think it is a nice idea. As long as the various companies are ok with it, I would go for it. Good luck!!

Angie, I think it looks wonderful, but then you already knew that, lol. Like Julie though, I think you should have her change the links on the Initial Outfitters page to blue or something because with the white background they are hard to read.

I'm confused. When I look at the Initial Outfitters page, the links are red.

hmm, that's odd. Is it because you can edit it maybe? Has she told you how to go in and change things? If that's the case those things may show up differently to you than to the general public??

No, I can't edit. I'm just hitting the link like you are. Perhaps I will ask in another folder where they know techy things.

Angie,
Your site looks great. I wish you huge success. I wouldn't miss being home with my kids for anything, that's why I'm doing this instead of what I went to college for. Your kids are adorable.

Very nice job, Angie! I like how you've kept it clean and simple, yet filled with all the information visitors need.
I can tell you why you're seeing the links as red and everyone else is seeing them as yellow. Your page is set up to show the links as yellow BEFORE they're clicked, and red AFTER those links have been clicked by you at least one time. Try clearing your browser cache and then reloading that page, and you'll probably see the links as yellow, too. That is, until you click on them again. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif
Other than the yellow links, the only change I would suggest is to replace the Latasia link on your About Me page with your Initial Outfitters link.
Blessings,
Christy

I really like it. I have recently been thinking of doing a single site myself to help self-promote. I see nothing wrong in letting your customers know that you offer other products, just as they understand that the companies are not affiliated in anyway to each other.
Great job! :)

Hi Angie,
I like your site. It's clean, attractive, and to the point.
I hope it generates lots and lots of business!

Thanks for the help, Christy! Good eye! Hopefully, I can get that fixed soon! (Sorry, Krystal for the oversight--just a reminder that I changed my mindhttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley6.gif).
