Hi! I have read some posts on here about giving out samples with business cards (like SOH) -- what do you put the samples in and how do you attach to your card? I am getting my cards this week and would love to do this.

Thanks!

Jennifer, I have used the show of hands cards and attached a business card to it. I know Kari did these cute marg. samples using the paint pots from Michael's. There was a post awhile back about these. Also, I believe what she used to attach to the pots was posted on the spa wahm website. www.freewebs.com/wahmspagirls (http://www.freewebs.com/wahmspagirls) You can also do the theraputic bath minerals in a snack baggie with your card attached to it and how to use them. I hope this helps. Nicole

For the SOH I staple my business card to the back. For my homemade samples I print up a business card with the product information on it and put my business card on the back side punch a hole through them and tie it with a ribbon. Kind of like the Margarita samples on the website.

i have started putting together little samples.
I buy little ziploc bags in the craft section at walmart.
i buy little sample containers online to fill with various products.
I buy avery 1inch round labels at the office supply store to label the little containers.
Using the product information from beautinet, i put together little business size descriptions/directions for each product. i then print this out on regular paper and cut to the size of business cards.

In the ziploc: i put one or two samples, my business card and the sample description.

Do you just scoop out a tsp or so of the product into the bag?

most people put a tsp or so of the bath minerals directly into a little ziploc and then staple their card to it.

I put a small amount of the other samples into the plastic sample container, just like a couple of pumps of the lotions or a tsp of SOH or salt glow or bora bora scrub.

i think the containers that i use are 1/9 of an oz.
here are a couple of places to get sample containers. usually the more you get the cheaper they are, it would be great if you had someone to split it with.

I use the little paint pots that you can find at any craft store...they are like the paint-by-number paint strips you used to get as a kid...they can be found empty in the paint section of stores like michael's...you can cut them apart...I have personally made of business cards that have instructions as well as the price for that item and my contact info...these can be found on our wahm spagirls website...if you were planning on using your regular biz cards you could either just staple the sample to the back(if you use the paint pots, just put these in one of those tiny ziploc baggies) or you could use address labels to print some info about the product and put this on back of your cards...HTH
