Hi, everyone! A new member on my team (thank you Sabrina!)has suggested a votive swapand/or a scent sample swap for those of us who do not yet have the sample pack.
Awhile ago on this board or another someone had mentioned using the cd case from the dollar store or Walmart and placing our scent sample baggies inside the cd clots and making a do it yourself scent sampler that would fit inside a larger purse (actually I have the sample pack but I think this would be more convenient) This way we would not have to purchase all the votives to make up sample scents we could swap.
Also, I also need some votives that I sold this weekend and otherwise would have to order. And I see some of us have are experiencing the same thing. She also suggested we do a votive swap so we would have 2 of each on hand. I know some teams have members who make their own mixed votive packs, but this would be for those of us who don't.
I thought it was a fabulous idea! Thank you again, Sabrina!

HI..I just came across this thread. I actually have a box of almost every single votive that the company offers if anyone is interested.

If anyone has variations on this idea let me know. I thought we could do it like the chain letter things.
Scent sample swap
Example- Imake up 10 scent samples of "home for the holidays"and send 1 out to each person on the list. And then I should get 9 back all different scents. Wala! our own home made scent sample pack for the cost of only 1 votive.
To make a mini scent sampler you only need 1 envelope of a variety of scents (we won't be giving these away to customers- just using them as a sample pack so people can smell them). If everyone has a different scent it would be really cool!10 different scents (or however many people who want to do this) in a small enough case to bring with us everywhere.
A great case to hold them in could be a cheap cd case (I know I have seen these at Walmart or the dollar store cheap. Or maybea little photo album/book.
Everyone pm meyour scents you have and your address. (let me know all the scents you have available - I will pick one unique one) I will volunteer to organizethe results and mail out the list of addresses to everyone participating.
- even if you just have 1 scent that you have it may still be ok unless it is the onlyscent that another person has too. We can see.
I think a votive swap would be cool too, but then thought the shipping might get expensive. Anyone have ideas on doing this?Edited by: Soy Candle Gal

Ok let me see if I got this right:
So let’s say I am mailing out 10 samples. Are we talking about the Samples that I would give away to customers, the little bags I keep them in?
Sorry, I was a bit confused!

Hi, Sabrina. So far I have only had 1 pm and we will need more - ladies let me know the scents that you have and your address. You will only be responsible for one scent.
Please respond by the end of this week so we can get this going - thanks!
