hi, my neighbor wants me to start arbonne and she had mentioned that, because i am shy, i wouldn't have to necesarrily do parties or go door to door if i didn't want to, how would you go about doing the work if you didn't do parties and such? I'd love to do this if it is possible, i have a 16 month old and if i got an out of home job the money would go straight to daycare, so that is pointless. Plus I like the products so far and would love the discount. I know your thinking, why don't I just ask my neighbor about this, but i'd rather get a couple of answeres instead of just hers, as i am new in the neighborhood.

Hi Alyssa!

I joined Arbonne last week with the intent of taking advantage of the excellent discount. I have told a few friends about Arbonne and already have one order with another possibility. I am new to direct sells and have found these products extremely easy to sell, as I wasn't even trying to and it just happened! Now granted, these are only 2 orders, but the discount I received on my products was wonderful, which is why I joined to begin with. On my $100 order, I saved $35, which covers the $29 sign up fee. This already saved me money. So, in my opinion, if you use the products already, it's definitely worth it to sign up, then whatever income you make on top of that is even better!

We have the REsults Approach, which basically isa One on One Appointment you set up with someone to talk about the products and business. At the end of the appointment, you get referrals to keep you going. It's an awesome system! Once you have your consultant ID# you'll be able to go online and get all the training you'll need, in your home, at your convenience. How did your neighbor approach you? Simple, right?smileys/smiley2.gif

Just want to second everyone else. Parties are great if it's what you enjoy. Personally, I am about as far away as you can get from a home party person. It's just not my thing. I tried to make it my thing when I started Arbonne b/c that's what we did but I was never comfortable. So I was thrilled when other alternatives starting coming available. Yes, you can be very successful not doing home parties with Arbonne & in my opinion the "let's go Shopping" system can move you much faster up the promotions. I LOVE it!

Good luck!

Hi-
I am new also and in 2 months I am making DM without parties!
I do the pups approach as mentioned above. I have 5 that I rotate contunally.
BTW- I have 3 kids, 8,6 and 1. I also homeschool 2 days a week.smileys/smiley5.gifIf I have time to do this - anyone does.

The one on one is the way to go - most follow ups can be done by phone, (or at the park.) smileys/smiley36.gif

Also - if when I found my upline she was doing parties - today I would be a consumer only. smileys/smiley2.gif

I heard on a training call over the weekend that the new NVP's all had
one thing in common no matter if they did parties or results.

Almost all lead with the business.

Cheers,

Sarah

True, Sarah. Leading with the business will get you there much faster than leading with products. The power of duplication is key.

Thanks for the info ! My upline hasn't been very helpful. I almost wish I searched out a better upline before joining. I think that anyone that is looking into selling Arbonne should shop around to find someone that they think will be most helpful in their success.

I have many prospects and I am using the REsults approach. People here are just learning about Arbonne. Most of them never heard of it before. ( Live in Massachusetts) therefore, we are in an "educational phase".

I found your info helpful. Thanks !

I'm glad I could help!

I agree. I think you should find a sponsor that you feel comfortable with and is willing to teach you how to get your business going. I feel very lucky and blessed to havesuch anamazing sponsor and upline. My sponsor is an ENVP so I know I'm in good hands!!

Exactly what Brittany said, lol.

Look at it this way, you can try to sell products to the world but it's going to be harder b/c you don't know enough people. So if you do it that way then there is only one sunset out there & only 24 hours in a day. Take out sleeping, working & other time then there is even less hours in the day. That means you are going to be working really hard to make volume b/c you'd be trying to meet the numbers by yourself. So you are going to have to do 100% of the business.

Instead you want to work smarter. You do this by leveraging time. You want to duplicate your efforts & teach others to do what you are doing. That way you have 10 sunsets out there sharing the product with people. So while you are still getting 110% effort to your business you yourself are only doing 10% b/c the other sunsets are doing their 10% as well. So you end up with 110% of the effort but you all only did a fraction of it each.

Also, you don't have to know everyone to get the volume. You just have to know some people & then help your other sunsets introduce Arbonne to the people they know. Lets say you know 30 people you think would like Arbonne. To make it easyall the other sunsets I mentioned also know 30 people. You end up with 300 people to introduce Arbonne to! It's the power of multiplication which adds up a lot faster than the other way, which employs the power of addition & subtraction. Because hardly anyone likes to sell. If youintroduce the products & then tack on the business people are going to think this is about selling the products, no matter what you say.And you aren't going to find a lot of business builders to duplicate what you are doing because of that.

Make sense?

Also money is tight for most people right now. Our products are amazing but very few people sit up at night worrying about their wrinkles. Practically everyone sits up at night worrying about money. So from that standpoint which do you think is the more valuable "gift" to offer?

lol, I was writing that postas you guys were writing posts. Man am I slow or what!? smileys/smiley36.gif

Sunset, it's too bad that you are in a line that you don't feel is very helpful. I'm glad you aren't letting that stop you though. There are so many successlines out there it can be hard to know which ones are going to fit your needs. So if you don't know someone personally & know what they are about you are so right that it's helpful to shop around.

That's great that you have a lot of prospects. You guys can really learn & grow your businesses together. Plus the potential for growth will be amazing! Since you are using the REsults approach you should try the Let's Go Shopping" presentation. It's my favorite & has really worked for us. PM me if you don't have it. Also, be sure & read the 45 Second Presentation that Will Change Your Life by Don Failla. Short book, huge impact.

Good luck & have fun with the business! Let us know if you need anything.

Jennifer, Your website is pretty awesome. I am new and love reading the post on here. I haven't even tried the product yet, i was just looking for a good businness to be in. I have been doing one of those bus. that you can not mention for 2.5 years I have 20 people under me and my largest check to date is $58.00, I feel, felt like i was spinning my wheels , then i started my research my first thought was find something you like to do, Health and wellness for me. Looked at many MlM wellness companies then one morning in the shower maybe a God thing, because i have been praying about it Arbonne came to mind, researched a person I would like to be in business with because your upline is your lifeline and hopefully in Feb-April time I will get my business going. I say Feb-April I am going to get out of my current HB business. in Dec. January, sale through my business products, Febuary put my house on the market and leave my job, April move to Fort Leavenworth KS. Husband is military. For me is really was the business part, I already am beautiful (hehe)smileys/smiley36.gif, hopefully Arbonee will enhance that.

OMG, thank you Lisa! I am proud to say I taught myself how to do the web design etc on there! Not bad for someone who is computer illiterate! (See, there is hope for anyone who wants to do a website!)
<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I love your sassiness. I am sure Arbonne can only enhance who you are! It sounds like you have really done your homework & Arbonne is the perfect fit. Sounds like wellness is your thing. That is great that you’ve found someone you are comfortable with to help you build your business & guide you in how it’s done. You can do it without that person if you have to but it is so much better to have that support. After all, that is the whole point of this industry. You are in business for yourself but not by yourself. I’m sure your sponsor is so excited that you are going to be a part of her team!

And too great that you have a timeline with goals! I am sure you will meet them. Anyone who is that on the ball has to. <?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Kansas is a great place to live. I live in Oklahoma so travel there from time to time. Dad lived in Kansas City for a little bit b/c of work. Loved it so I try to go back & visit. Would love to just live in The Plaza & spend all day shopping, lol.

20 people in your downline is great. That stinks that it hasn’t generated more income than that. I am sure it’s really frustrating to be spinning your wheels & not getting the pay off you were hoping for. So disappointing!

Anyway, glad you’ve found a new home with Arbonne. Don’t be a stranger! smileys/smiley1.gif

Thanks for everything you guys. It's going to take some time to get this going.

Just because I don't have a good upline doesn't mean I can't be one! smileys/smiley1.gif
