Has anyone tried this technique? I am thinking of doing it but not sure if I want to spend the money to let things leave my sight for a week to one person! If it brings results, maybe it is worth it!

What's Spa in a purse?

Exactly what is Spa in a purse?
I have heard of spa in a bag where you make up samples of the spa express kit along with some mineral bath salts, put them all in a little bag with instructions and your business card. Is it pretty much the same?

I think it is like the traveling spa basket except you leave it with one person instead of an office?
We've had great results in Canada with traveling spa baskets. I finally have mine ready...now I just need to bring it into my vet's office!

It is the same as the traveling spa basket. Difference is you pass it to a FRIEND. Tell her to keep if for a week and use the products. Ask her to share it with friends and have them fill out comment cards.

I don't know if this is part of it but I was thinking I would do a thing where if they share with 1~2 friends who purchase something they wil save 10% off their order and if they share with 3~4 friends who purchase they will get 20% off their order. If they share with 5~6 friends that order they get 30% off their order. If they share with 7~8 friends that order they get 40% off and 9+ friends they save 50%.

I went out today looking for a cute purse but have not found the right one yet. I don't have the papers ready so I am going to keep looking for the purse.

I think people will like it if they are thinking of doing a spa but don't know enough people to come or if they don't have time with a busy schedule.

For the consultant, it is good for those who have friends that you wish would hold a spa but you asked and they keep saying yes, not yet.In other words they are saying NO and if you keep asking I will not be your friend. Now you are offering to give them something, no questions asked... and they can share or not.

ok so one more ?...so you give it to a friend and she shares it...does she pass it on for the other person to keep for awhile or just share when she has it...then does the people she shared it with continue to pass it on...

She keeps it herself and just shows her friends. They fill out a comment card saying they would like to keep the bag for one week... earn rewards for having a party... know more about the biz... etc.

fun fun fun!! so a quick suggestion for purses...do you have any old BC purses from a recruiting promotion or something that you could use? also do you use full size products, minis or samples?

I don't have any old purses. Only ever earned the orange one and can't say I would use it! Yes, I would use full size but that is because I am giving to people I know.

I have handed out some spa in a bags to some ladies. You just take a small organza bag put samples in them of SOH, ERP,HS footcreme, WTGT masque, and some bath minerals an instruction card, my business card and a gift certificate for a spa. I would add a picture of it if I know how to get one on here.

in another post someone mentioned using an Avon bag/purse that has pockets, that sounds like a good one.

I am thinking about trying out this idea...the problem that I have had with the traveling basket is that it gets pricey to put in fullsize products and I have not gotten many orders from that. I have one client who spends a ton of $$ with me and LOVES the products...tried to recruit her but she's not interested(still working on her though)...but she absolutely does not want to host a spa(she has been to my open houseand an event I did at my church, but not to a real spa yet)...She has been wearing the BS cologne and said she gets people asking her about it all the time...so I told her I would give her some of my biz cards to pass out...

Now I am thinking she would be a perfect candidate for this purse thing(and maybe it would show her how easy this is and she'll sign onhttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif)...and I had a great idea that I wanted to share...along with whatever else you were going to include in this, how about make some samples of the friend's favorite products...my friend also loves the sugar lotion and talc so I thought I would do some of these up in the paint pots for her to share...that way they are more excited to share it and can honestly say that these are some of her favorite things!! what do you all think? I think I am going purse shopping this week

Do you think the BC clear drawstring bags or the glamour bags or the skincare bags would work? I was thinking one of those since they already have the BC logo on them (well not on the drawstring bag but the others do). What do you think?

That is a great idea...I had also thought of a purse that was from a past recruiting promotion since these usually have a logo or say BC on them somewhere, but I haven't earned any yet..what do you all think of putting in samples of the friend's fave product...it might be difficult to change that all the time...not sure...I would love to hear your thoughts

Are you putting skincare in the purse? If so, if I give it tomy friend Jennifer who is in her 20's and then her friend Rhondawants to get the purse from me next, how do you know which skincare to put in the purse forRhonda? Does the card that Rhondafills out showing she wants to get the purse contain her age or something?

I wouldn't use the drawsting bag..... the idea isthey have purse to carry on their shoulder and it looks like a normal purse (or BC purse) but there is a spa inside. If you use a clear drawsting bag, it would be more of a Spa in a Bag.

Just my thought since I started this post.
