For those still doing parties, I have a great idea to share the business. My sister-in-law does Princess House parties (trying to convert her ;) ) and she has put together a scrapbook to pass around at the party showing things about her job and her goals. I thought this was a great idea! We could start w/ a copy of the CDARN chart and point that out right away. Then put brochures like the Hawaii trip and ASAP awards plus a picture of a mercedes along w/ EOA stories. Pass this around as you give your opening remarks. I watched at one of her parties and everyone looked at it. You never know who's interest it will spark!

get a cute bag and put in different things and have the guests guess what each thing represents... for example:

a white Mercedes - either pic or a small toy

a watch - to represent that you set your hours, you own your time

a pic of your family with a rubber band around it - you can be flexible around your family

play money or check

a container of your favorite product - for the discount
[/list]

Have you ever tried the Candy Bar Marketing?

You have different candy bars:

Starburst, 100 Grand Bar, Payday, Snickers, M&M's, Lifesavers, Extra Gum to name a few.

Then you talk about each one. Starburst represents all the ASAP prizes we can earn, 100 Grand Bar represents management and the chance to earn an executive income, Payday represents all the money we can earn and all the friendships we make along the way, Snickers is girlfriend time, M&M's is money and motivation, Lifesavers is the product we can't do without, Extra Gum are all the extras of having your own home based business, etc.

Then hold up a piece of candy and the first person who can tell you what that represents gets that piece of candy. It's a soft sell approach.
