I'm doing my pricelist and could use some feedback/suggestions. I realize that this topic has come up several times but I would very much appreciate your thoughts.
First of all, I wanted to include tax and s&h in the price for the most part. The problem is that sales tax where I live is 8.6% and I live in the western part of Washington State so shipping is horrible. The s&h for my COTM comes to $13. The economy here is also not great so I don't want to charge so much that I drive people away.
Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Hi there,
I think you can still make profit with the $13 s/h. Just remember for the COTM there's actually 1 jar, 12 votives, and 1 bar of soap. So basically $13 : 14 items = less than $1 per item for shipping and I don't think your tax will exceed $5? So say, for 1 jar = $9.95 for the cost of the jar + $1 shipping fee + $5 (just say that's how much is the tax) = $15.95. If you charged per jar $20, you still make about $4.05 for that jar.
I know that doesn't seem like a lot, but I hope it helps you with the question of pricing. Good luck!smileys/smiley20.gif

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm struggling through it. Just trying to get it done tonight since my mom is taking some catalogs and stuff into the school where she works tomorrow.
