I agree with the majority of what was said. I do believe that the "vitamins" or your products need to be of good quality for the company to stick around. The truth of the matter though is that you are not selling the product, you are selling you. Are you likeable? Are you personable? Do you have credibility? How do you make people feel? Peoples' action (& purchases) for the most part are made based on their feelings. When was the last time you purchased something from someone you didn't like? How do you feel when a telemarketer (whom you do not know from Adam) calls you and trys to sell you something or give you a survey?

The other thing I was thinking about the last few days is that many folks get into this business/industry and expect to see results overnight (or in a few months). Let's think about the analogy we use so often-planting a seed. After you plant it, you wait for it to germinate, sprout, take root, grow, and then it produces. If you look under the ground at the roots at each stage, you will see the tiny roots grow from barely visibleinto a widespread network of far reaching roots that continue tospread as the plant matures and produces more & more. This applies to our business as well. Even if we are able to make RVP in 4-6 months (or 12 months or 2 years or whatever is in your biz plan), that is just the beginning. It takesnurturing it so that it can grow into what we want it to be. I love to garden and see many correlations between it & life. One of the things I love is that there are many different plants and they will all produce in their appropriate season/time just as we & our businesses will.

Just my .02 for what it's worth these days.
