Hey ladies,
This is the second person that has said that the RE9 set made their face feel "sticky" or "tacky". I asked them if that was just when they were using the lift (because mine feels a little like that until I use the rest of the set) but they said no.
Is this because of their skin type? Both of these ladies say that they don't know what skin type they have....
I was wondering if maybe they were using too much product, because one of them was a MK user and MK products you seem to have to use a lot more each application.

That's interesting, especially giving Major26's post earlier about someone complaining about it making their face oily. It'd be interesting to know which kind of skin all three of these women have?

Hi,
I had this problem just slightly and found out I was using WAY too much
product. I realized this after I asked someone how long a system should
last. When they told me 5-6 months I cut my useage in half and since
then my face has just been wonderfully soft and not sticky.
Cheers,
Sarah

My mom had the same issue. She has oily skin. We both think she was using too much and probably does not need the serum everyday. I havenormal to oily skin & only use a partial pump of the serum. When doing drop offs and at classes, I advise to start with a 1/2 pump of the serum and add another 1/2 pump if need be.

I also had a person complain of it making their face feel sticky. She cut way back on how much she was using and is loving it now!!!
Botanicalsdo absorb into the skin. But our skin can only take in so much. Once its absorbed all it can the rest just sits on our skin.

here's an example I give people:

if you are applying to your face AND your neck, use a full pump

if you are applying ONLY to your face, use a half a pump
[/list]
this is for the ENTIRE RE9 line
for the night cream, about the size of a chocolate chip for just face, and a small pea for face and neck

I have a sticky face when I use the serum. I notice it only at night because I don't put anything over it (like foundation). I have very oily skin, and I'm thinking RE9 might not be the right line for me.

try it without the serum ladybug. Alos start using 2/3 a pump & see if that helps.

I have had the same experience as the rest of you. Initially, I did not care for the RE9, but was told that possibly I was using to much of each product and to cut back... I did --and now I love it!
My skin tends to be on the oily side as well and I experienced the sticky, oily feeling others have referenced. I also do not use the day serum, which has helped.

See I am very dry.. I flake up after a shower.. I love the night cream. I have to use a little more of the day and night cream because my skin takes it in sooo fast I can't spread it. I also can't use the serum every day or the toner. I usually wash, sometimes tone, serum 2-3 days a week, and the day or night cream. Specially after a shower.. I wash my face in the shower and then just use the day or night cream. Depends what time of day it is. As a result I go throught the wash, day and night cream the fastest.
This is all good reason to find out as much about the persons skin. If they say they are oily doesn't always mean they are. My husband thinks he is soooo oily and needs the Clear A. I look and know he isn't. I know a lot of this just by looking and asking questions. I have done that for 15 yrs. My mom has been a consultant that long smileys/smiley36.gif. Ask questions....
