I'm about to revamp my website, and I know even though the final decision will be mine http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif, I'd just like to know what you guys think about this style. It's a bit grungy, but I'm trying to reach a wider audience. See link below:

Hey Sophia. I like it! I'm in love with the whole grunge look. I was just browsing some grungy artwork to use for a header on a site I'm working on.

I was thinking, though, that you might get a biased response from other web/graphic designers. We tend to be visually artsy-fartsy with tastes that vary from the average website user. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

Poll won't let me vote smileys/smiley6.gif but the impression I get is that you're a young person trying to reach a young audience. (I'm a dinosaur.) I don't really see "grungy" as much as I see "young".

I like grunge. I'm also planning to use it on a new site of mine - an extension of my design business.

http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif You might be right...but I wanted to see if it would still be accepted. I'm so tired of the plain, structured look and wanted to try something different. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif

Thanks. I am not that quite young anymore, but I do try to keep up to date with what's in as much as possible. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif

I love it, but I think the colors need to be toned down a bit. The lime green navigation buttons really strained my eyes.
