I have a slip made up for my drawing box. If someone does not check that they are want more info on what I have listed then do I still enter them for the candle drawing? That would be kind of useless wouldn't it?

On the slips that I use it states that all areas must be filled in in order to be eligible for the drawing. If they don't fill them out completely I don't include them in the drawing. I do however send a catalog or a postcard offering an incentive. Hope that helps.

Just thought of another question. I go each week and collect the slips to enter into the drawing. Do I tell the business owner that one of their customers will have A CHANCE to win a free candle or that one of their customers WILL win a free candle? I have no guarantee that any of them will be chosen, right?Edited by: gamommy

Do you state there is a drawing weekly or monthly? Are you supplying the candle? I would say "enter for a chance to win." Are the stores getting any perks for allowing your lead box?
