Hey everyone, I am thinking of having a booth in an upcomming craft fair and would like to put one in my local mall. The problem is I feel a little insecure, all I have is a table and some candles, and order sheets. I mean I feel like i should have a couple of all the sents, won't people want to smell before they buy? I allready have people who ask for catalogs. I was hoping you would tell me what your first booth was like. What did you have? How did you do? Thanks guys and gals!

Hi Samantha, if you will be doing a craft fair, and it is around the holidays, i would definately have a few of the fall scents on hand. Do you have a sample bag? Being that it is a craft show, i would focus on selling crafts that incorporate our votives and other products. Make some votive roses or centerpieces, gift baskets, bears, etc. That way you wont have to have so many jars on hand.
I would definately have at least 1 or 2 of each scent of bella bar too. I always have one of each and i keep them open on one end so people can smell them. and keeping them in the wrapper keeps them fresh and sanitary.
Setting up a kiosk in a mall is costly and if you do this i would have at least 2-3 of our popular 25 scents or so.
At your craft fair set up a "candle drawing" box so people can register for that. People love FREE stuff!! And have the drawing card include their info with emailand a box they can check if they are interested in earning money from home. This will turn into a great tool for emailing them with your new candle scents and any specials you wish to offer and also maybe getting a sign up or two.... or three... or four!! lol smileys/smiley36.gif
