Does anyone know if shipping is taxable in Georgia?

Yes...it is taxable at the same sales tax rate as the items purchased is taxed at.

Some states tax differently according to whether the charges are called "shipping" or "shipping and handling." For instance, Virginia taxes "shipping and handling" charges, but NOT "shipping" charges. Strange but true... lol.

I just looked at the list you referenced. I think it is wrong. NV does not charge tax on shipping.

Yep, we have sales tax. No state income tax. The casinos are taxed to the gills. Also small businesses pay so many other taxes it's insane. And our former gov. kept adding more types of taxes.http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley29.gif
