Hi Ladies,

Yesterday I received an email from a lady that was disappointed about thevotive she had received from me. It had been crushed in shipping. I generally do not send votives anymore but thought I would for her.

Anyway, I have been using bubble mailers for them but was thinking maybe I should use a box. But I do not know where to find a box small enough for a votive.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Many Blessings,

Natalie

Hi Natalie, here is what i use to ship them. If you have a Micheal's Crafts near you, go there. If not, I am sure an craft store would carry them. They carry small cardboard boxes that are prefolded but flat, you just set them up and i reinforce with scotch tape. They come in brown or white glossy. They are the perfect size for a votive!! They are .69 cents each and in my store they are by the scrapbooking and gift bags.

I fill the bottom with that packing "popcorn" and then put the votive in and then fill up the space with more filling. It works so great and i even ship mine in a glass votive and have never had one break. It costs me $2.44 to ship it and no matter where i ship, that is my approx cost. Just make sure you tape the sides good and shut and tell the postal worker that it is fragile.

HTH and good luck!! smileys/smiley2.gif

Natalie-

Deb Warren said on Jackie's team call a couple of weeks ago that she ships out her votive samples via the post office where they give her the little box for free.

Hi Jennifer,

So I went to Michael's tonight and found the boxes you were talking about. They almost look like that would not hold a votive. I did not have enought time to purchase one because the store was closing. I will go back tomorrow and get some!

Many Blessings,

Natalie
