So, I signed on in late august (like the 30th i think) -
i'm in my 3rd month technically and have had
absolutely no "yes's."
the more i learn about arbonne the more i'm so
happy to have made the choice to get on board. the
only thing is i've gotten 11 "no's" so far.
now i'm not doing parties, i'm trying to do this like a
business and soley recruit business builders. by
day, i work for a very well known company and am
very successful at my day job - sales. i keep
wondering after every "no" that i get if i could have
communicated the opportunity better, if i could have
shared my "why" better or if i was remiss in finding
my prospects "why."
i'm so incredibly bummed but not ready to give up. i
want this so bad.what's worse is that i also feel like
i am letting mmy sponsor down, she is a dear friend
and i signed up within 72 hours of her signing up.
she made it to DM after 3 weeks and despite my
best efforts, i'm still at 11 "no's."
this message board has been so great to read late
night to make me feel like i'm not alone in this. i
finally signed up tonite so that i coud reach out to you
guys and ask for support.
i will consider any and all pieces of advice that you
have for me. i have less than 2 weeks before my
qualification period ends...

Mile hig gal, do you happen to be in Denver? If so, pm me because my rvp has sponsered people there and maybe you could go to a meeting sometime. Anyway, keep the faith and keep going. I have heard more than one person put it this way, the only difference between a DM and an RVP is an RVP has heard more no's. You will make it! I am impressed that you offer the biz right up front, that is where I am failing. But, don't leave out the products, even though they sell themselves. I have read so many Eyeon Arbonne stories where someone signed up just to get thediscount and then later decided to do the business.Good luck!!

I agree with Lori. I attended a CATS training earlier this year and the speaker asked how many of us signed up with Arbonne just to get the discount, as wholesale buyers, and about 80% said YES. Get the product on their skin first, then when they see how awesome the products are, they may be more willing to look at this as a biz op. Also, it's great that you have a background in sales,however- try to not look at this as "selling", look at it as "sharing". You are "sharing" Arbonne, it's more duplicatable to share, many people don't think of themselves as salespeople, but anyone and everyone can "share".

5280, you sound just like me weeks ago. I also signed on in august and I have not had anyone to tell me yes. They are either already with arbonne, doing something else, or just not interested. I love arbonne and theproducts, but it can be hard for some to get a break in the business. You just have to keep your faith and never give up. Eventually, you will run into the right people at the right time and get your business off to a great start. Don't give up.

I'm wondering if you shouldn't be offering the pup, then discussing the biz when you do the pick up. So many people are users first, then get interested in the biz. I was an Arbonne user for almost two years before my situation changed & I began to look for another way to earn income! I know this may be slower going, but maybe with several approaches out there, it might click for you! I'm looking to qualify this month, too! Don't quit before PAYDAY!

I definetly suggest doing the results/reverse results approach. People need to try the product. When I drop off the pup, I show the person the CDARN chart first (this is what my upline is doing). I tell them I am looking for 4 key people who will join my team to strive to make it to "this" level, and I show them the RVP level which earns on average over $6600 a month. People are always interested in money. I say up front that I know this business might not be a right fit for them, but they may know someone else. I leave them a curiosity pack along with the set for a few days. That way, when you follow up, they already are prepared to discuss the business option, and you are not "sneaking" this into conversation.

Hi 5280! If you live in the Denver metro area, PM me. I live in Westminster. Our area manager has regular meetings and you are welcome to come. We are all going to a major event in Littleton Saturday to hear Michael Clouse and Jerry and Rachele Nichols. I don't know if there are still tickets available or not, but I can give you the details about that too if you want them.

Mary Alice,
I live in Cheyenne, about 1 1/2 hours from Denver. I wouldn't mind receiving info. on meetings and trainings. There is no one here but me! I will eventually start my own, but I could use the encouragement! Thanks!
