Okay, perhaps I did not read *all* of the fine print of the consultant agreement but *rbnnee sold my personal info to a catalog company!! I got a junk catalog today and just happened to look at the address (we have been getting the neighbor's mail lately). It had my name and *rbnne Intl under my name. The only way this company could have received this info is if *rbnne sold it to them. This is so disappointing! I thought our info was confidential.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I have been with Arbonne since 2000 and this has never happened to me. Call the catalog company and ask how they got your name. I would find it hard to believe that Arbonne sells their names.

Your name may be affiliated with the company through some things you may have put out. For example, my email address comes up for other people with my first & last name, Independent Consultant Arb)nne Internati0nal or something like that. I set it up in my email system that way. Let's say some I send an email to a company that's how they would have it listed. Perhaps some of the catalogs, flyers, promotions pieces, etc you put out with your contact info were picked up...it could happen as well.Also if you ordered business material outsidethe company& listed your company as Arb0nne the company you bought the material from may have sold your info. I know when I order books, videos, business cards, etcfrom various sources, I list my business as Arb0nne. To my knowledge our company respects & values us too much to sell our info. I would call home office to verify that for your own piece of mind.

I receive catalogs, etc in the mail like that and I realized it's because I ordered from Vista Print and used my title. I really do not believe our company would sell our info. I just can't see that.

Sometimes even top income earners with the company, When they leave the company they sell their list to geneology companies. This is how you get those phone calls from people from other opportunities.

I am not knocking Geneology List because I love them. Most people on them are not happy with their company or they QUIT and are looking for something else.

Thanks for all of the ideas. I called the catalog company and still have not heard back. I will grill them when (if) they call.

Vistaprint TOTALLY sells your name and info. I received a number of calls from other businesses and they all tell me they got the name from VP. I called VP and told them to mark my account. That has since solved the problem.
