Ok, so I just had to share with everyone. My fiance went to school with a girl that graduated in May. She had a graduation party a couple of weeks before my last day at my full time J-O-B. I invited her along with her friends to the spas I was having at my house to celebrate my last days at my J-O-B and to kick of my BC business. She seemed really excited and was even interested in this amazing company that allowed me to quit my job, wear pjs to work, and make lots of new friends. Well, I talked to her a few days before the spas, and she was definitely coming. Long story short, she never showed, and I couldn't get in touch with her to get her to book. Not wanting to seem pushy or needy, I finally gave up trying to reach her, but I never deleted her number from my cell phone.

Fast forward to last week. One of my consultants had a birthday and since I am trying to build good habits BEFORE I become a Director, I called to tell her Happy Birthday. Apparently, when I had "saved" her number into my cell phone, I had accidentally just added her last name to the other girl's phone number (both have the same first name). When I heard the wrong voice on the voice mail, I hung up without leaving a message, again not wanting to seem "pushy". After all, I had "given up" on this girl over two months ago! Within the hour that followed, I received a phone call from my "wrong number". When I told her who I was and explained what had happened (inculding that I didn't want her to think I was pushy), she said she was so happy I had called! She hadn't forgotten about the spa and really wanted to have one. We also talked more about the company, and I think she might be one of my recruits! She is going to talk to her friends tonight and make sure the date she wants is ok with them. Yay!

Moral of the story: Make those calls and don't get discouraged! Just because someone isn't in the place to have a spa or sign up THIS MOMENT, that doesn't mean you should give up all hope. Sometimes a wrong number may be the best part of your week. :)

Great job! That is so true, you just never know when it will be the right time for your potential hostess, recruit, etc.
Anytime, anywhere, anyone.

Thanks Bethany, you are what I needed to read. I had a girl wanting to do this as a business that I was going to write off. I think I will try to call her one more time this week. Thanks

Good luck, and make sure you let us know when she signs up. :)
