Hi I am fairly new to Arbonne and was wondering how everyone shows the makeup at their presentations. Do you have people try it on their face or their hands?

Thanks, D

I personally do not do makeup shows. My upline will occasionally do mocha makeover parties...I would get the disposable spatulas, mascara brushes etc. No double dipping:))

Since I purchased all the make-up, I bring it to show. Its not a huge seller, but people expect to see the make-up. I concentrate on the re9 line, and then while they are browsing and putting their order together, they look at the make-up also. Then, you can have a make-up party for all of your wholesale buyers.

While at the party though I have all of the disposable brushes. People normally test the foundation on their face, and blushes, eye shadows, lipsticks on their hand.

Here is an idea if you are interested in having makeup parties. Hook up with a make up artist at your local salon. Ask her to come with you to one to two parties a month - part of the fun of the party is having your makeup done for free by a "professional" make up artist.

Here are the benefits -

It's a neat perk to your invites so you have a higher attendence.

The color sets sell like crazy

Pay your make up artist in free product

I've gone through three make up artists using this approach - they have all signed on as BB after seeing how much fun (and how profitable) the parties are - 1 of them has convinced her salon to purchase a consultant account and they now sell Arbonne.

Enjoy!
