I am signed up to participate in an upcoming event at a local mall. Has anyone done a trade show or mall event. What did you include at your table? Did you do a drawing for prize? How about minis, did you give them away or just the SOH samples? I need all the ideas I can get.
Thanks!

I did Instant Manicure. Bring a large bowl and a pitcher of water. (hopefully you have easy access to water) Stand in front of your table and tell everyone you can make their hands feel incredible in 60 seconds. While they are scrubbing do your 30 second commercial and show them the flip cards with the picture of the women with the eye pads relaxing. (The flip cards are VERY important, they can now visualize a spa escape). Tell them you are getting full but you have a few dates open and if they sign up on the calendar now they get to take a mini product. Pour the water over their hands to rinse and have them dry off with a paper towel and ask them how wonderful their hands feel. Get the date now. Have them fill out an information card and follow up within 24 hours and hostess coach within 7 days. This is VERY effective. Only sell show of hands. Keep it simple! FOLLOW UP is critical to getting the spa to hold. If they don't want to put a specific date ask them to choose a date they think might work and tell them their name on the calendar guarantees them a spa that month and that you will call her to firm a date within 24 hours.
