Hi, I am considering joining GCC as a distributor and a question I have is about the cakelink. Can anyone point me to an example of theirs, like on their web site? Is it something you can type into your browser or does apersonalways have to click on the link?
Thanks!
Thanks!

It is your special address that people will type into the browser to get to your specific distributor site.

How does CakeLink differ from a GC website, other than cost? Do you get credit for sales thru CakeLink? Thanks!

Each Independent Distributor may have their own website to sell our products, which must state the company's name and Distributor's ID number. Or they may have their own company site. There is a $20 set up fee and costs $7.50 per month (auto-billed through Pay Pal Subscription.) The company will receive the orders and ship them out. Distributors with a company website will receive notice of orders placed on their site. Distributors may also purchase a CakeLink from home office to place on their personal websites. A CakeLink will direct the customer to the main ordering page of the GCC, however, is embedded with information giving the distributor credit for the sale. When a sale is completed using a CakeLink the Distributor will also receive notice of the sale and commission at the end of the month.
Set up for a CakeLink is $10 and a $5 monthly charge (billed via Pay Pal Subscription.) The Distributor will receive the commission on the sale at the end of each month.
Hope that helps!
Mary

OK, like Zannie asked above, I'd like to see a "cakelink" to see if this would be enough for me. I'm putting a gourmet foods website together, so I'm not sure if I want to add to the that expense (being professionally made for me) and have a GC website or just the imbedded link.
So either way, you're saying we'd get credit for the sale (and the same % commission), correct?
Thanks Mary!
