How do you work with your teams and keep them motivated and connected with you as far as your Candle Business goes?

Hi Angela! As far as working with my team, what I do is send them weekly reminders on the weekly training calls, I have them on our yahoo team support group, I introduce them to my sponsor and upline support team,I call them when they have questions and need advice on something they are planning on doing, any important ideas and tips that can help them build their business I be sure to send to them by email. Basically that is it... I let them know I am here to help them in any way I can. My closer team members I invite to work with at fairs/fests.
HTH Many blessings,

My team is all local to me. We have monthly meetings, not required, but encouraged, I send weekly email updates and occassional "hurray" emails for big parties and whatnot. I usually call before and after they have a party. I have a big desk calendar in my office to keep track. Plus we have a system on the company website to keep track of parties so I always know what my team has up. (As long as they enter it in).

Hi Angela,
Wow, with such an exciting and FUN business, it seems like there isnt much motivation needed!! But we do know that life gets in the way and when it does, I just keep in constant contact with my team, letting them know that i am there if they need anything!
I am currently preparing a newlsetter to send out once a month for just my team and i encourage them to send me any positive experience they had that month or a funny or encouraging story that pertains to there business. That helps keep them involved and feeling uplifted!! I alsoencourage them to take advantage of all our training calls and our online presentation. That really helps to keep one focused when they are spending quality time with there business on a daily or weekly basis.
I guess the best thing you can do is just make yourself AVAILABLE!! It doesnt matter if you have been doing MLM for 10 years or you just started yesterday. If you are a caring person who has a true love of helping others, you WILL build a team of strong and passionate individuals!! smileys/smiley2.gif
okay, HTH!! Good luck in your business!! smileys/smiley17.gif

My belief is that leaders create communities. While going around
pumping people up individually works for awhile, they always require
re-pumping.
When you create a community (like our Yahoo group, for instance) and
people feel connected, the ones who will be self-motivated and grow to
be leaders themselves will stand out. Everyone else will also be
supported by being a part of their sharing and growth.
Regular group contact ... phone calls and newsletters are good too ...
another indicator of leadership, but beware of becoming 'super-woman'
in the eyes of your team. This is a business of duplication; people
really only need two questions answered for them:
<ul>
Can I do that?
Can you teach me?
[/list]
Nothing else matters if these two questions aren't a 'Yes' in their minds.

Hi Angela!smileys/smiley4.gif
Great question!
I've been fortunate to be working with Mia Bella for the last two years.
I was very careful to choose a VERY EXCITED, SUCCESSFUL AND FUN TEAM to work with. It's paid off for me and those who have and are joining me in a big way.smileys/smiley2.gif
We have the most incredible support I've ever seen or been a part of in this industry. We have two Yahoo Groups with a LOT of Scent-Sational Information, wonderful calls, and continuous Support.
It's been a truly wonderful experience. I wasn't even a candle lover when I started. I chose the company, products and team for the business and the tremendous possibilities.
Now, I've become addicted to all of the above. I find that once especially candle lovers join our business, they become extremely self motivated because of their's and other's reactions to all of the important three things I mentioned!
Hope you are having a Scent-Sational Weekend!!!
