There were a couple of folks from one of my yahoo groups that wanted to know how the Baby Shower Favors I'd made came out. I've included a picture here so ya'll could see them as well. I really wish my blue votives would have come in on time but oh well...I still think they look pretty good.smileys/smiley32.gif Also I know there has to be an easier way to attach the little "stickers". What I did was buy some spray adhesive and baby shower confetti then I attached each piece by hand. Boy were my hands sticky! If anyone knows of an easier way I'm all ears!smileys/smiley2.gif

I wasn't too sure how this would come out because I'd never seen it done but I prayed so everything's all in order. smileys/smiley2.gifI have to admit that I really like this idea. It's something that you can adopt for other special events too!

LOL smileys/smiley36.gifThanks Margey and Jenn!

I purchased the boxes from the Wilton Section at Wally World. I don't know the price where you all are but here in CT the package was $12 for a package of 20! I actually got them out of the wedding section. I thought they were too cute and I wanted to do something besides votives in tulle.

Hi Dinika,

Great job they look wonderful! Have you tried glue dots? You would still have to do by hand, but they make very flat ones that might work better than spraying the box... Try it and see I guess. I just the dots to keep my products still in the gift baskets I make.

Thanks Alison, Frances and Nat! We are such a supportive bunch I tell ya! Ya'll are blowing my creative head up! smileys/smiley36.gif

Frances...no I haven't tried the glue dots. I'll look into those. My main thing was trying to pick something that wouldn't show on the outside since the boxes are clear. I tried regular 'clear' glue but you could still see it and it was clumpy. smileys/smiley11.gifBut I'll try the glue dots and see how they work!

Nat...go ahead and steal my idea http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif. I was going to do those for the holidays too. I'm going to look for some Holiday confetti. Make sure you share with us how yours come out! smileys/smiley4.gif

Hi Laurie...Thanks so much.

LOL smileys/smiley36.gifI did try the hot glue but because the little confetti pieces and the boxes are both plastic they melted a little. LOL smileys/smiley36.gifI know I hot glue just about everything too. I love my glue gun. Burned fingertips and all!

Hi, Dinika! I love these! Did you sell them or did you have the shower for someone yourself? I am curious what a price to put on these. If you don't mind I would love to make these too! I wonder if you could just stencil paintthem on or buy the scrapbook stickers? That would be more expensive but maybe you could find them cheap somewhere. Very cute! Thanks for the picture - you should submit this to the back office.

OoohI didn't even think to submit to the back office. That's something to think about. smileys/smiley4.gif

No I made these for a customer's sister in law's baby shower. I sold them for $5 each because she ordered so many. Go ahead and make them to your hearts content. I don't mind.

Dinika,

Did you include a votive holder too? If not, did you give instructions on how to burn them? They are really cute, thanks for sharing.

Hi Nan!

Good to see you over this side of the internet world! No I didn't include a votive holder but I did include instructions on how to burn them making sure to put in BOLD writing that they should not burn the votives in the box because the box is plastic plus the spray adhesive is flammable.
