Okay so I have done a couple fo spas for a curves here and they have all not had the best results but with the new products and new york I decided to give it one more go. Well I have been there all morning and I only had one lady stop and she thought the SOH was to oily. I don't think I have ever heard that. So I am headed back this afternoon and I do have two ladies that have signed up to stop by my station but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas that might work this afternoon. I really would like to get at least three or four bookings out of this and hopefully one recruit (purse charm). I have my table set up with a basket full of products and I have my hostess program out. I am even doing a raffle that they get to enter when they book a spa and the winner gets a free cabana bath salts (which I have for them to smell and sample). I have my spa invitations out and my music playing. I told everyone to come see me for relaxation when they were done working out and still only one person. Like I said any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Do exactly that... give it one more go! And then move on. I have had pat experiences where I felt like I was beating a dead horse, so I learned to move on. There are so many other ladies out there who are looking fro what you have! Go find them! Set up in a hospitol and Spa the nurses, Go into the schools next week and get on the calender to do a back to school spa for the teachers. Look at a MOPS group, girls scout troop... the ideas are endless, just keep moving forward and keep a positive attitude! You can do this and you will, just know when to say when!

Good Luck!

Hope I'm not too late!

Do you have a neckwrap with you? Put it on them and "said now just picture you and your friends sitting back having girlfriend time together and relaxing with an eye treatment and this wonderful neckwrap" how many friends can you think of right now that could use some pampering?" Pause a minute, then say "I have this date or this date which works you?" When talking let them know that you can have it heated or be cool at your spa and you will receive your very own! Also with the SOH say "your hands will feel smooth and silky. That it's great for paper cuts etc and husbands can even use it too!!" After say "How do your hands feel, awesome don't they?"

Go have fun!!

Funny you say to use it on paper cuts, I tell everyone to steer clear of the SOH when they have them. I used it when I had a cut once and learned the hard way...lol. Ouch! It burned like crazy! Maybe on a healed paper cut??? smileys/smiley2.gif

We had a in service day the other day for the teachers. I had a drawing for a "free" facial. It gave me 70 leads!! Of course..everyone "wins" LOL

I am going to start calling tonight and tommorrow so hoping I get some leads this way. This is my first time trying this.

Good luck with yours!

Too funny!smileys/smiley36.gif Because I have always used it for cuts and scratches. That's what I was told way way back when, that Dead Sea Salt is to heal as well. It might burn a little, but not bad. My husband will use it when his fingers are split from working outside, mainly in the winter.

stlspagirl-

It sounds like you are doing a great job. I hope all went better in the second session. If not, do not be discouraged. You have presented your business well and put the company and your name out there. If it was not successful, your next endeaver will sure to be!

Best of luck to you!

Oh my gosh, Shannon, I had the same reaction when I put SOH on a cut. OUCH!!! But at some of my spas, the ladies will put it on their hands and say it makes their cuts feel better. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif I guess it depends on the person.

Thanks ladies for all the advice. The second have went a little better. I got 3 leads one that says she doesn't do parties but if her girlfriends are around she might give me a call, one who has the most sensitive skin I have ever seen (her eyes started itching from 3 min. of eyepads) but she lives with her sister and said that she knows that her and her friends might do one, and the last lady that absolutely wants to have one when she finshes painting (she is having contractor problems and is working through the better business bureau to solve right now). So I don't know if you would call them three great leads but everyone counts. I also took some of my time sitting there and came up with a great letter to drop in some near by business mailboxes and I went next door to the tanning shop and planted the idea of doing a customer appreciation spa in the head of the guy that was there so I have to follow up and call the owner who is a lady and will of course love our productshttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif. I also even started typing up my notes from Celebration to keep me from getting discouraged and I followed up with some hostess encluding my one for tonight that said she has 7 people coming and they are all excited. So all and all not a bad day. I didn't get the bookings that I wanted but I stayed productive and I pushed my business a little farther and at the end of the day isn't that what we all want. Talk later.

T.Russell, You are just what I needed to read today. I have been a little discouraged over the past couple of days. So far all my spas have been 1-3 people at them. I just had one last night and no one showed. The hostess felt bad and rescheduled, so I did a spa on her and presented her with the $99 deal, when I go back at the end of the month she wants to do that deal and I also talked to her about getting 4-5 outside orders where they can order $100 in product for 55.00. She is working on it so hopefully then I can qualify her. So that is my light at the end of the tunnel. I really needed to read your story today. Thanks for sharing, Nicole
