...I was in JC Penney today and found the Y brand candle being sold there-- $19.99 for a 14.5 oz jar candle -- compared to our 16 oz jar candle at an MSRP of $18.95. I'll take a less sooty, more natural Mia Bella candle any day. And I know the other candles do get very black -- I see them burning in the local model homes all the time and shake my head, maybe I should keep some stockin the car when we're out and about... http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif

hi Ulanda! You should bring candles around with you if you feel up to it...you never know what people are looking for...
My upline Shep Kuester often sends around to our yahoo group what other gourmet candles cost...some are over 65.00! It's so true "you get what you pay for" and our candle is an excellent retail value!

Great idea Ulanda! You know, I do not advertise probably as much as I should because I am on the sponsoring end, but I do get sales every month from people who want to try our candles. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif

Yep, those "other" brands are more expensive, have all that black soot, and don't last nearly as long as our candles. We've got the best product on the market!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif

Get yourself a jar candle that has burned all black and show that with your other Mia Bella Jars.
No matter what our price, they will not want the black sooty one.

I carry a Ycandle with me to my parties and fairs. I have the receipt attached to it.

Now there isn't much in the way of black on it, but it has burned terribly unevenly - a huge well down the middle and huge amounts of wasted wax.

When you add the tax, their 14oz is bit more expensive than what I charge for our 16oz. And the comparison between the two candles speaks volumes.

Yes out is once again the best!

Thats a good idea to have the yucky candles (the Y ones and the ones that burned black soot) with you at parties and fairs..I never wouldve thought of that..even with a receipt attached as well! One more tip learned!!

Ok, I know that everyone's nose is different. Scent is one of the things I look at in a candle and for me the Y brand has never really smelled all that strong, so I've never really been a huge fan of the Y Brand.

One of the things I love aboutmia bella is thatalot of the scents are strong, strong enough that you know a candle is burning and very true to scent. I love that and I also love howeven and clean burning they are...

Mia Bella really is an amazing candle... http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif
