Hi Cool Hottie Mia Bella WAHMs!!!smileys/smiley17.gif
I have aspecial new partner, actually a couple (wife and husband) who have a lot of great questions about fundraising with our scent-sational products.
We have a lot of team fundraising info. However, I also know that ANDREA, is becoming, due to her excellent work, a Mia Bella Fundraising expert.
She just sent me some great info. that I sent to my new partners, with her permission.
I want to publicly thank Andrea.
While Andrea were talking on the phone, it made me realize again how important, not only to choose YOUR SPONSOR very carefully. But also enjoy those who you have the honoring of sponsoring/partnering with in this scent-sational venture.
Andrea and I met here. Our first long discussions were about the importance of choosing a sponsor/team. I felt honored that she chose me and my incredible team. I feel blessed that I met her and we partnered together in this great venture. And she introduced Dinika to our awesome team too!! yay!
I was also wondering if anyone has other great info. that they would be willing to share about how they are working with fundraisers here?
Have a Scent-Sational Wednesday and "see you on our call!

I have said from the beginning, I truly believe one could earn a 6 figure annual income JUST focusing on fundraisers.
Along the way, you will pick up a lot of retail sales and distributors.
It just takes a focus, like anything!Edited by: JackieUlmer

Fundraisers are going to be my main attraction. I've already formulated the letters to go out with samples. The business cards and stickers are on their way to me. Since I'm still working on this, being new, all I have is a plan of action.
My plan of action is targetting specific groups at a time, for example churches..... first for the fundraiser, then find out more. Often times they hold bazaars as well and will be asking if they are planning on a church bazaar or craft fair, letting them know that I would love to do a table at their bazaar which could be yet another fundraiser for them in itself.
As I gain more groups I will be able to request permission use them for a reference with the fundraising so future prospects can see what kind of activity can happen here locally, possibly for them to be a phone call reference, or reference them in literature as to how much we raised for them.
Once I get enough groups under my belt, that is when I will approach the bigger schools. Generally there are a little more politics involved in those, but I believe they would feel more comfortable with a "track record" behind me.
But back to initial contact, it will need to start with that letter, followed up with a phone call to make sure they received it, and if they didn't, who I should be sending these to. Those I don't get initially, I will formulate a little postcard update campaign as I progress with the groups that have given me permission to use as a reference. One day they just may be curious enough to call that lady that might send them a postcard a couple times a year :)
Well, that is pretty much my action plan. Now that my two cases of votives came in last night(that one case managed to get sold at work again), I have some left behind to make into samples and will be sending out initial letters this weekend smileys/smiley17.gif
I will let you know my progress as I go smileys/smiley17.gif

Hi Sandy,
That is a great action plan! Now all you need is that action. I want to offer some advice on the inital contact. I would call the orgainzations first and find out who to send the imformation to. So that you will not have to do that in the end if they do not receive it.smileys/smiley2.gif
Many Blessings,
Natty

Hi Sandy!smileys/smiley4.gif
I think that this couple has that part down.
What is the letter that you are sending out?
Thanks!

For samples to send with the information, are you sending a whole votive or do you create the crushed candle samples that everyone seems to do?
Thanks.
Thanks.

The letter I will be sending out is one those from the back office downloads, just modified slightly for me. I think they are a wonderful tool!
Thanks Nat, I had considered doing that first, then thought against it...... but will be taking your advice and calling them first. I see your point and do agree that would be best to get the info in the right hands initially, THEN follow up with another phone call.
