Has anyone held a mother-daughter get together? My daughter just turned 14 & I really don't know the moms of her friends that well. I was thinking of holding a get together on a Sat afternoon for us to visit, become aquainted & I'd hold a skin care class.
Thought I'd have a make-up table, too.
Any ideas?

I did a mother-daughter class with one of my business builders a couple of months ago!! It went really well. We had girls from 12 to 16 there with their moms.
We did a short presentation and talked about the benefits of starting at a young age to take care of your skin. Then we let the girls (and moms~ if they wanted) use the skin care products. We also had make up set up so that they could try what ever they wanted.
It was so much fun and the girls had a blast!!!

Thanks Lori - I'm going to do it!!!
Did you have anything besides the re9 lline for them to sample?
Did you just let them play with the make-up or did you do something more structured?

We had some of the basics for the daughters to try. We kept it simple ~ cleanser, toner and moisturizer. Make sure that you have plenty of wash clothes and towels if you do this!
As far as make up ~ one of us (either my business builder or myself) were always at the make up table to assist them in choosing colors. And to make sure that once an applicator had been used that it was thrown away!!!
Make sure and have ALOT of disposable applicators!!!

How timely! My 26 yr old daughter is hosting a mother daughter class for me on the 22nd of this month (my 8 yr old couldn't come up with enough names for me smileys/smiley2.gif.) Most of the pairs are the same as my daughter & I, I have been going back & forth on whether or not to use just the RE9 or if I should also includea basic set also.
Any suggestions?
