I posted this also in bus advice.
Has anyone ever written a press release for yourself for the local paper? Like a new business venture for a company like a party plan or direct sales company. I saw one a few months ago for another party plan in the same paper and I can't find it now. I thought it was a good idea. I would like to look at a few to get an outline idea. I am now in the process writing one but I was wondering if anyone else has done one before. I am not sure exactly how to word it so it does not sound cheezy ya know? We have a small town paper but no one here has heard of my company before and it is free advertising.

I got mine published in two newspapers for Noah's Ark Animal
Workshop. I sent it to 10 newspapers, but only the one's that I
sent pictures to actually printed it. I sent pictures of a
workshop--well, actually it was my own son with an animalsmileys/smiley2.gif
