1. What company are you with? BeautiControl</font>
2. What is the start up cost? Minimum orders? Monthly/quarterly/yearly quotas? This month, the start up cost is $250 but you automatically get a package of products worth $150 that you can use or sell. A consultant must place at least $100 retail order every 120 days to remain active. That is the ONLY requirement.</font>

3. Can you sell online? Yes, you can sell on-line.</font>

4. Are you provided with a company website? your own domain? company email address? How much does it cost? Yes, you are provided with a website with your own domain. The website costs I believe $30 / year. You also receive an e-mail address for free. </font>

5. Are you allowed to set up your own website instead of the company site? Yes, you are allowed to set up your own website.</font>

6. What products do you sell? How extensive is your product list? BeautiControl began as a cosmetics and skin care company. It has expanded to include many different spa lines (at least 6 different spa lines), also includes hair care, sun care, men's care, fragrances, and has expanded the skin and beauty lines greatly!!! Including microderm abrasion, chemical peels and many other wonderful things for the skin.</font>

7. When was your company established as a party plan/MLM company? BC was established in 1981 (almost 25 years)</font>

8. How many consultants are there? More than 80,000.</font>

9. Is your company international, or just in the USA? BC is mainly in the USA and Canada.</font>

10. Are there any restrictions on how you sell your products? You cannot sell products at a garage sale or on e-bay.</font>

11. Can you rep for other companies? Yes, you can rep for as many companies as you would like.</font>

12. How does commission work? Are you paid cash or given "store credit"? How about downline commission - how far down and what % do you make? You always order products at a discount and sell them at retail or whatever price you would like. Once you have 4 recruits, you begin earning CASH commission on their sales. I believe it begins at 4% and grows to 25% of all your recruits sales. I'd have to check for more details on it. My trainer got monthly checks around $9,000.00!</font>

13. Anything else I should know about your company that makes it "the best"? BC is a company that has allowed women to change their lives. It recognizes women for their work and celebrates who women are and encourages them to have a job that they love and fits their lifestyle. I know couples where the husband worked somewhere for 30 years and got a gold watch. His wife who works for BeautiControl has gotten way more jewelry and rewards than him for much less time! It's about living the life we want to live. </font>

Good luck! Just a question: is this for research or just information, or are you interested in finding a job? Thanks for asking!

Well, we are definitely the BEST at what we do! There is no other company, that I am aware of, in stores or out, that is taking music and literature and tactile components and integrating them together. We do it in such an awesome way too, I am not sure anyone else COULD do it as beautifully and excellently as Kindermusik does! We have the mostcreative and experiencedproduct development team, and I hear over and over again from educators and parents, how thrilled they are to have something of this nature available for children! Besides that, being on the ground floor of something this big is amazing!

Great questions!

1. What company are you with? Shaklee, the #1 natural nutrition company in the US.

2. What is the start up cost? $19.95 for basic distributorship, $299 for Fast Start (biz in a box - for serious business builders - 15 popular products and business supplies worth over $425)

Minimum orders? None. You're in control.

Monthly/quarterly/yearly quotas? If you wish to participate in Fast Start bonuses, 50pv autoship required, monthly bonus eligibility, 100pv personal volume, Directors and above, 2000pv group volume per month minimum. But you decide... no one will dip into your bank account.

3. Can you sell online? Yes

4. Are you provided with a company website? Available for 14.95/mo for first, $7.50/mo each additional. Your own domain?Subdomain Companyemail address? Yes, with personal web site. For example, mine is susan@shaklee.net (susan@shaklee.net) How much does it cost? See above - marketing site below is free for first month.

5. Are you allowed to set up your own website instead of the company site? Yes, certain restrictions apply. For example, my business marketing site is http://money.createmyfuture.com (http://money.createmyfuture.com). There are other options available for product and business marketing.

6. What products do you sell? Shaklee sells products that are in harmony with nature and good health.

General product lines: nutrition, personal care, household, air, water.

- natural nutritional products of the highest quality with human clinical studies to back up claims. No fads. No hype. Just good science. Safe, biodegradable (except sunscreens) personal care products, mineral make up (makes you look 10 years younger) and skin care with better clinical test results than anything else on market (Example: AM Repair - 245% increase in skin resilience and firmness in 28 days, 421% decrease in the appearance of fine lines of the skin in 28 days, 421% decrease in the appearance of skin wrinkles in 28 days, 37% increase in retained skin moisture in 84 days, a definitive evening of skin tone in 84 days.) Numerous patents. Free from toxins. Safe, biodegradable household cleaning products, air purification, water purification.

NutriFeron is the ONLY interferon booster on the market and we have the global rights. You will only find it at Shaklee. (Our leadership made sure of that!) http://www.shaklee.net/susan/prodNuFeronHome (http://www.shaklee.net/susan/prodNuFeronHome)Clinically proven to help Hepatitis C, allergies and asthma! Clinical trials underway with auto-immune disorders. Amazing results with flu, AIDS and other nasty illnesses.

How extensive is your product list? About 70 different individual products. Does not include make up colors or special product packs.

7. When was your company established as a party plan/MLM company? Shaklee is the first and oldest NWM company. Established in 1956, it will be celebrating it's 50th Jubilee next year.

8. How many consultants are there? Last I heard, 750,000. But this number is growing by 10,000-20,000/month. When Asia opens, I expect this number to explode! Don't worry about saturation - I still run into people who have never heard of Shaklee. And then I run into others who have lost their distributor years ago and are anxious to find someone to sell them products.

9. Is your company international, or just in the USA? Shaklee is a 1/2 billion dollar company in ONLY 5 countries (USA, Canada, Mexico, Japan &amp; Malaysia).

We are in the midst of a major international expansion. An acquaintance in China, Hong Kong or Taiwan (or an acquaintance who knows someone in these countries) could be worth a fortune. Shaklee is planning to open 42 countries soon and those who are in business now, can find it extremely profitable.

10. Are there any restrictions on how you sell your products? Distributors may not sell in stores, but it is possible in salons and health care offices. See P&amp;R for details. There are certain restrictions to selling online to protect the integrity of the company.

11. Can you rep for other companies? Technically no, but this is not an issue until a person "breaks out" as Director. At that time, trying to run multiple businesses is not really in one's best interest anyway.

12. How does commission work? Shaklee pays over 50% to the field - of total company sales.

There are four ways to make money:
<UL>
<LI>Retailing - buy at one price, sell at another. If product is purchased online, Shaklee will pay you the price difference.</LI>
<LI>Bonuses - when volume (pv*) is over 250 in a calender month and at least 100 of that is personal (your purchases and/or retail purchases through you), you qualify for bonuses - ranging from 4%-34% based on group volume. Essentially infinity levels deep.</LI>
<LI>Leadership bonuses - 7% on all first levels, 6%-3% on levels 2, 3, &amp; 4. Compression - business leaders "roll up" to the next business leader above him/her. Example, if I have no business leaders and 20 levels down, someone becomes one, they would then become my first level business leader and I would earn 7% on their volume.</LI>
<LI>Fast Start - A distributor who maintains a 50pv autoship order, when they enroll new business builders with a Fast Start package, earns $50-120. Upline business leaders also may also receive the Fast Start bonuses when their distributors enroll new builders with the Fast Start package.</LI>[/list]

Are you paid cash or given "store credit"? CASH! How about downline commission - how far down and what % do you make? 4 levels. 7% all first levels, 3-6% levels 2-4 (WITH compression - excellent feature!)

13. Anything else I should know about your company that makes it "the best"? http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif

<LI>Are there any restrictions on how you sell your products? There really are no restrictions on how products are sold; however, any form of major advertising must be approved by the Home Office. Certain guidelines apply.

How about downline commission-how far down and what % do you make? See description above.
<LI>Anything else I should know about your company that makes it "the best"? Top Line Creations is a relatively new company. For this reason, areas are not saturated with Consultants, which leaves the market wide open. The Company's flexibility allows me to build my business in many ways, and I felt this would appeal to a wider "audience" from Hobbyists who might want to join to receive the 25-50% discount on supplies without having to meet quotas, to the business minded scrapbooker who is looking to create a viable income. The products are quick, and easy to use-with something for everyone from the beginning scrapper to those with more advanced skills. </LI>

1. What company are you with?
Let's Do Tea</font>

2. What is the start up cost? $195, with opportunity to get
your kit free when you have 2 parties and $750 in sales during the first 6
weeks as a Tea Consultant.</font>

Minimum orders? Monthly/quarterly/yearly
NONE. ZIP. ZILCH!
This is one great thing that sets LDT apart from most other party plan
businesses. You have no minimum sales or party requirements to remain
active. Once you establish a downline, you need to have a minimum of
ONE party per month to receive your downline commissions. (A party
consists of just three orders, regardless of sales totals!) The next month
you have a party your downline commission resumes. No penalties, no
loss of downline, no sales to make up. It is so nice!</font>

3. Can you sell online?
Yes and No: Tea Consultants can not sell product on ebay
or other related means online. We are allowed to advertise our business
online and to take orders via email.</font>

4. Are you provided with a company website? your own domain? company
email address? How much does it cost?
Each consultant receives a (free) company email address
upon signing up. We have a company website, and in the near future Tea
Consultants will be able to set up their own personalized web pages off
the company site. </font>

5. Are you allowed to set up your own website instead of the company
site? No.</font>

6. What products do you sell? Gourmet loose tea in 3oz
tins (over 100 varieties!), teaware and tea accessories, scone mixes, tea
biscuits & cookies, curds, jellies, creams and honeys.</font>

How extensive is your product list? We offer just over 100
teas, depending on how many seasonal teas are being offered (seasonals
come out 4 times per year); several complete tea sets, various brew in
mugs and different pot styles and sizes.. I'm proud of the variety and
quality we offer and new customers are always impressed!</font>

7. When was your company established as a party plan/MLM company?
Let's Do Tea[ began in the summer of 2003.</font>

8. How many consultants are there?
We are expanding rapidly! Currently we have over 300
consultants.</font>

9. Is your company international, or just in the USA?
Currently USA only.</font>

10. Are there any restrictions on how you sell your products?
May not sell in established stores or online stores.
</font>

11. Can you rep for other companies?
Yes.</font>

12. How does commission work? Are you paid cash or given "store
credit"? How about downline commission - how far down and what % do
you make?
Tea Consultants receive 30% commission on retail sales, in
cash. So for every $100 sold, the consultant receives $30. Downline is
three levels deep and commission is 3%:2%:1% and increases as your
position in the company advances. (Base commission rises with
promotion also).</font>

13. Anything else I should know about your company that makes it "the
best"? Let's Do Tea is a Christian-run business. We strive
to bring back the art of Hospitality! I can't think of a party plan that could
be more relaxing or more enjoyable than giving tea tastings. Other
points to consider:
-Consultants recieve generous product discounts,
-can earn their kit free,
-are eligible to earn great reward/incentive prizes like caribbean cruises
and weekend vacations in Mexico.
-Let's Do Tea accepts credit card payments and processes all CC orders
for their consultants.
-We have a fabulous conference each summer in TX
-We are currently still a GROUND FLOOR opportunity! </font>

Tell me- is this a great company and business opportunity or WHAT?!

8. How many consultants are there? I'm not sure.

9. Is your company international, or just in the USA? USA only

10. Are there any restrictions on how you sell your products? This subject caused a big uproar in an earlier thread this month. Our only restrictionsare that you are not allowed to sell our products in any other venues such as flea markets, ebay, your own webstore that is not HGP. You are also not allowed to sell to individuals who you know will be reselling our products. Only HGP designers are authorized to sell our products. I think that this is a common "rule of thumb" for most direct sales companies although not many people wanted to speak out on the matter.

11. Can you rep for other companies? Absolutely! As long as you are not selling other company products at HGP parties.

12. How does commission work? Are you paid cash or given "store credit"? How about downline commission - how far down and what % do you make? 30% at time of sale and once qualified (after you've sold $1500) you will earn 40% commission (30% instantly and 10% on the 15th of the following month). You make 10% from the first $1500 of your first downline and 3% following. You can earn on up to 3 downlines.

13. Anything else I should know about your company that makes it "the best"? Each one of us probably feels we work for the best direct sales company out there but that is simply because we found the best company that is right for US. That's the key... finding the best company for YOU. Good luck in your search and God Blesssmileys/smiley2.gif
