I have someone who wants a simmer pot and lavender scents. He wants the melts because of the price, but since the melts doesn't come in the melts I need something similar to suggest. His wife's favorite scent is lavender. I've never smelled ours so I don't know what a good runner up scent would be. Can someone help me please??? Thanks!! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif

We have lavender in Votives. Why dont you sell him 5 votives to him? Explain that you can also use the votives in the simmer pot, just cut in half.
Hope this helps.

Instead of the melts, then why doesn't he buy the votives and use them in the simmer pot? All they have to do is pull the wick out from the bottom and **poof** they have lavender melts! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif

We have French Lavender melts. It is lighter than the regular Lavender but I love it!

How weird, I think the French Lavendar is stronger. LOL

I'm pretty familiar with the lavender herb... http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gifFrom my experience our Lavender aroma (dark purple) is more of an herbal lavender and more on the natural side. The French Lavender (light purple) is more of the foo foo 'soapy' aroma that you'd find in a french milled lavender soap.

Both are fabulous, yet totally different!

Most of my customers have preffered the french lavender over the regular, saying that the regular is too strong.

But a great alternative for the melts would be Angel Wings... My mom is also a lavender fanatic, and she loves the Angel Wings. Also Victorian Rose would work well too!

But I'm glad to be reminded that there are french lavender melts now- I have to order some for my mom!!! LOL
