This is going to be SO FUN! Our church outreach coordinator just contacted me and asked me if I would like to direct the crafts activities for the vacation bible school. (eek- last minute!)
The oldest group of kiddos are ages 10-13, and I thought that since I have such a large collection of COTM votives, it would be fun to do a candle craft with the older kids.
What do you all think?
I have an unopened package of balloon cups and sticks, so perhaps we could do some votive roses, and let each of them do 2, one for themselves, and one to give out at a nursing home to go with the theme of reaching out to others.
Have any of you done this craft before, and if so, is it something that a 10 year old could realistically do without getting frustrated?
Thanks for your input Gals!

I've never made them, but I am sure that age group would have a great time doing it!
It does sound like fun Kitt! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif

How fun! Maybe another suggestion could be to decorate a votive holder.
