Hi,
I am getting my traveling basket organized and am just wondering what you all do with the MDA buffer and the brushes regarding reusing? Do we dispose of the brushes after each use or how have you been addressing this after each basket comes back? Even with the draws I have read about and you are offering the MDA treatment, do you just use once?

I guess the other thing is not to include it in the basket? I have a couple of lists for thetr. basketsfrom different units, what do you think? Are most of you doing MDA in the basket or not??

Thanks a ton for your input, I hope to have this out for tonight to my neighbor to take to her work for tomorrow. That leads to another question; do you think it is ok for her to take the basket in? I have told her about it and she is very interested in taking it, should I go myself or let her take it? All the information is there, just thought I would ask the experts first http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif.

I always wash my brushes with antibacterial soap between each use. I have not been including the MDA in my travellingbasket, but if you are going to, I would ask the person to wash the brush with soap, or even dish soap when they are done. I trust that people will clean the spatualas, etc as well, and if someone is very concerned about contamination, they probably wouldn't use the basket, or the products you have to dip intoanyway.

Thanks Coreena, great advice! I agree with you that if they are overly concerned, they most likely won't participate. I may just leave it out of the basket is the way I am heading....

May I ask how your basket has worked for you? I think the basket is a terrific idea, considering the time of year and the fact that most people are so busy with holidays and kids. Do you generally find it more difficult to book spas in the summer months? Where in Canada are you? I am heading to Penticton BC on Sunday and am thinking of ways to share the products on the beach!

thanks again~

Hi Patti,
I'm in Kamloops, not too far from Penticton. I'm also going camping after Celebration and am looking for ideas for sharing at the campground. On the beach - maybe offer the hydrating mist to someone who is hot. Foot products for sandal feet. Sunscreen... LOS Balm with Nutrispheres for skin that has been in the sun too long. Lots of possibilities. I was just talking to my director about this. I think having the hydrating mist out and using it and offering it cool down someone near you who looks hot may be good.

As for the travelling basket - it has been hit and miss. I have brought it to businesses mostly, so left the MDA out so there would be something to look forward to if they book a spa. I've dropped off the basket to very excited people only to have no one touch it for a week, then I also got a qualified recruit out of it recently. She was able to sign up and use the basket to generate enough orders to do her qualifying order. Hard to say. I think I would add MDA for someone who wants to try the stuff but is never going to hold a party.

Where are you in Alberta? Are you going to the Canadian conference in Edmonton in Sept. I'm registered for it and am pretty excited - first Canadian conference ever. I've heard that guest who go to the Fri night and sign up may be able to take their kit home right away and attend the rest of the conference for free!! Great opportunity for anyone in Edmonton.

Have fun on the beach!!!

I leave the MDA out, but you might consider letting people know about it or just including it when someone seems particularly interested...and yes you can wash the brushes...i switch brushes if I am doing more than one person at the same time and then wash them in between
