Okay fellow Bunnies...I need a little assistance here.

Have any of you done one of our Fundraisers (HOP) in the past? If so, how did they go?
I am considering introducing the HOP Fundraiser to my kid's school. They attend a Christian School & I feel that they be all for it. However, just curious as "how" you went about it & how well you may have done.
Not trying to be "nosey"... smileys/smiley9.gif Just curious about how well they tend to go. Thanks for anyone that can shed some light on the HOP Fundraisers. smileys/smiley2.gif

Hi Terri,
So far I have only done one and it was at my church for the youth group. They sold $655. I've been sending out lots of HOP packets to schools and PTA's, but no luck. I think I need to find smaller groups looking to fundraise, as the large fundraising corp.'s offer incentives to the school's for ongoing fundraising with them.
I wish that taxes weren't involved because then I would promote it to for-profit places like dance schools, preschools, daycares, etc. Just trying to have the customers pay 7.225% in taxes wouldn't go over well since our tax rate is 6%, plus it would be confusing. I also don't want to pay the taxes for them because I am doing this to make money. ;)
Sorry to ramble!!

Thanks Shannon. WOW, it sounds like quite a "hassle" really. Not sure whether to "try" the HOP Fundraising or not.
The kid's school is considered to be a "small" school, especially compared to public schools. They have preschool all the way up to 8th grade. Most of the classrooms are small. However, there are a couple of grades that have 2 classes since there are an over abundance of children that signed up for those particular grades. All in all, about 150 students grades K - 8, not counting the number of children in the preschool alone.
Okay...gives me some things to consider "before" making this decision & taking the packets to the principal of their school.
I appreciate the info. smileys/smiley2.gif
Have a GREAT Day! smileys/smiley17.gif

Terri,
It is definitely worth a shot! smileys/smiley1.gifOur youth group is only 6 kids, so that was a little more than $100 sold per kid. So think of that times 150 kids....now figure out your commission. smileys/smiley2.gif
Its not really a hassle, I keep plugging along and I'm sure as the community gets to know me, someone else will come along looking for fundraising that'll give HOP a try. smileys/smiley1.gif
