I don't like rejection. It hurts my pride. However, I have been
in sales for a number of years, and I have learned that the people
who get the most "yeses" are the one who get the most "noes".
Noes are a fact of life. We need toaccept that reality. I have
been studying a couple of the modules at Arbonne University.
There was a lot of talk about developing ones "I" (Why) Story.
I want to develop and share mine.
I am not really impressed by a new car (I would certainly take
one, however.) And I do want more money and freedom to make
the choices I really want.
BUT the real reason I want to build my Arbonne business is the
thrill of the chase. I want to prove to ME that I can do this and
that I AM really willing to pay whatever price is necessary. I want
to look back and say: "There, take a look at what I did, look at
all the people I helped and all the people who helped me. I want
my picture on an EOA and have others getting inspiration from me.
I want to get THERE and be in the winner's circle. I want to know
that I did NOT quit. That I cried when I was hurt, but that I did
NOT quit. That although I made a lot of mistakes and did not know
what I was doing all the time, still I did NOT quit. That I moved to
a new city where I knew NOBODY, but still I did NOT quit.
You and me, babe. We are going to make this thing work. We must
not and will not quit.
I may not set the world on fire, but I sure plan on smoking it up a
lot.
