I am a new consultant and have just started speaking to people outside my warm market about Arbonne. No one is impressed. They all are interested at first and then...... nothing. I tell them the benefits of it, but no one is biting. Could you please tell me what exactly you say to people to really get their interest peeked.

I just finished studying some of the modules at the Arbonne
University. The key for me is to really develop my "I" story
and simply never give up. I mean NEVER give up.
With all due respect to all the folks who have already made
it with Arbonne: if they can do it so can we (you and me).
Really they are no better or smarter than we are. If they
can do this, so can we.
NEVER GIVE UP. (I'm talking to me.)
Yesterday I could not even give away my little puppy dog.
Today I found a lady whose aunt USED to be with Arbonne.
She asked for a catalog. I gave her a catalog and Butch
my puppy.
More people are going to tell us NO than tell us YES. If this
was easy, everybody would be doing it. However, you and
I are special, and we ARE going to build our businesses.
God bless,

I just came off a getting started call. She said, if someone told you - do these 500 things & you will be at the top of the company, you would do them, right? Well, when someone tells you no, or doesn't call you back, check off 500 & go to 499. The important thing is to focus on the action, NOT the result! Always stay in action! It has been my experience that the people I have been most reluctant to approach, have shown the most enthusiasm when I've finally screwed up my courage & approached them. I tell them about my new business & ask them to try the skin care for three days & tell me what they thought about the product. One of the things I've enjoyed most is that I now have time to actually listen to people & enjoy new relationships. Before I was always rushed & never took the time to get to know those around me! What an unexpected blessing!

I agree with Bev. While I completely understand and can related to the discouragment issues, being a consultant in anything makes you more aware of people around you. You meet a lot of nice people that you would have otherwise never met. I've met a lot of very wonderful people of this board, and a few that I even consider friends. They are there for encouragement, to vent frustrations, to give praise, advice, etc... just like if we worked in an office somewhere. This is our "place of employment" and everyone has bad days at it. There is always tomorrow smileys/smiley2.gif

First of all if you are new you will fumble a bit to begin with. It is expected w/ anything new. Think of what sold you on the product? Then develop a short presentation on why you love Arbonne. I have found the most profound approach is just to say " i have found this amazing product that I'd love for you to try" let them try it and then follow up in a few days to see what they think of it. Also everyone is so different, remember who you are speaking to.
Hang in there!! You can do this. The more no's you get the closer you are to a yes and having your dreams come true!!!!! smileys/smiley32.gif
