I am going to have a booth at our county fair. Has anyone ever done one of these? Do you have any tips or ideas? Also, how do you split profits/bus builders who sign up? It will be me and some girls from my downline working it!

Thanks

Emily

I'm anxious to hear a reply to this also. I would like to work a booth at our county fair also.

Can we do fairs? smileys/smiley5.gifI really don't know. I'm pretty sure we can't sell products at a booth, though. Don't take my word for it, though. Check with Arbonne to be sure. Let us know, OK?

I wasn't planning on selling products at it. Just have a display
and literature out and talk about the products and the opportunity.

Ohhh, gotcha. Well, you could have a raffle. Do you do personal opinion appointments? You could advertise that anyone who schedules a personal opinion appointment with you will be entered into the raffle for a chance to win ____ (whatever you decide) and they will also receive a free gift at the time of the appointment.

What is the "personal opinion appointment"? Having them try the Re9 set?

Personal Opinion Appoointments are short 15 minute one-to-one appointments. You can use whatever products you want, but the form my RVP made up for us has

Sea salt scrub

Cleansing gel

Herbal foot care

RE9 Lift

RE9 Eye Creme

Vanilla shake and Orange fiber
[/list]

Those products are taken to the client and demonstrated, then the client fills out a form where they can indicate their opinions about each product they tried. Then (obviously LOL) conversation would go from there. smileys/smiley1.gif

I just read about the Personal Opinion Appointments ~ that's a pretty cool idea. There are just so many ways to work this business and it's cool that you can choose the method that's most comfortable for you. smileys/smiley1.gif

Thanks everyone for your help! Yes I am planning on focusing on the business at the fair. I just need something VERY catchy because Arbonne is not very well known around this area, it is a HUGE MK territory! smileys/smiley17.gif

The personal opinion idea sounds interesting...what does the form look like that the client fills out?
