Wow! Didn't see that coming. I always thought it was a wonderful concept, and wanted the kits for myself.

I'm so sorry to hear this.

Wow. That's a shock. They've been around a few years, too. Sorry to hear the news.

That's a shame. I have some of the products and just love them.

Sorry to hear this.

That's disappointing... a great concept. I am getting more and more suspicious of companies suddenly adding a direct sales component because it's trendy. We've seen a bunch of them come and go pretty quickly.

Anyway, I'm bummed for the BYB consultants. I know a bunch of you put your heart & soul into your biz.

I used to be a Director with BYB. Loved it...loved the concept... and still adore Crayola.

I am not sure what happened, although I have a few theories.

I wish it would have worked. The craft kits are great and I still do projects almost weekly with my daughter.

If you guys have a consultant and can take advantage of the discount...do it. I stocked up on products for birthday parties, and rainy day projects. Every time I give a BYB product as a gift it is a huge hit and everyone asks me where I got it!

If you don't have a consultant PM me and I will refer you to one.

You know what bums me about this is that I love the "kit concept" parties, meaning, the ones that have kits for you to assemble things yourself. I'd rather buy a kit that has everything, or most everything, you need rather than go to Michael's or Walmart (etc.) and have to pickall the components myself. There aren't many left now, other than a couple of jewelry put-togethers, and most of those you send off to someone to put together for you.

I'm very sorry for you BYB ladies, and gents if there are any.

That is such a shame!
I know all of our companies had to be new once upon a time, but it always scares me when I hear someone say you have a 'ground floor opportunity!'

I thought they had such cute stuff as well! I can't believe they are closing, I thought the concept was great. It is scary to hear about ground-floors but our companies were all new at one time too!

Lots of hugs to all the BYB consultants!!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley31.gif

Wow! I found that very unexpected. I thought it was a great concept and it was one of the companies that I considered before deciding on joining BabyCrazy.

I wish all the BYB reps well and much success on any new ventures.

I am so sorry for all the reps. For me it was a great concept - I am not good at gaithering everything needed and this all came together in a kit. I am praying that all of you find something else that you will truly enjoy.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I really liked the kit concept, too - I'm like Missy - I don't like to play search and find at WalMart!
