Does anyone else have product guides on back order? I placed an order at the end of June and I order 3 packages of product guides and they are still on back order. Does anyone know when we are suppose to get them?

One of my consultants called BC and was told that they are being updated and new ones will be available next month. Part of me is really excited to see if they add the LOS products, because for the most part, once they do, we know they will be around for a while http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif. Also curious about the Cabana Girl products (seasonal, but you never know).

Ah, that makes sense. I just wish they would have told us so I wouldn't be here freaking out cuz I only have 10 product guides right now.

i really hope they add the LOS products, i was thinking that maybe there is a good chance they will since that line is already in the product guide?
I guess i will just have to stock up on the Cabana girl pineapple daquiri foot lotion for myself smileys/smiley1.gif

Just FYI - the product guides always list when they are good through on the back. For example - the current one says that the prices are valid though 7/31.

I agree, though. I am surprised they are still back ordered when the new guides don't come out for almost 3 weeks!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that BC's "New year" always begins in August. That's when they come out with new consultant guides as well I believe.

Actually the fiscal year for BC is July thru June. I would make sense if the product guides came out at the new year, but for some reason they waita month. Just make a mental note to run into this problem around every August and January. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley24.gif

I'm peeved about this! I just got the first part of my kit and was all ready to start selling, and I have NO product guides and NO sales forms. How the heck am I supposed to sell anything? And if I can't get any for 3 weeks?? I have a spa coming up, I need to send a product guide to the hostess at least. Also, they didn't have any Canadian flip cards so they sent me the American ones and I had to paste the canadian pages over the ones with prices and it doesn't look as professional now.
Not happy right now. I want a product guide, even 1 is that too much to ask??
Ugh, sorry I had to vent.

Talk to someone in your unit and see if they have any they need to get rid of. Someone might have an abundance of product guides that they are trying to get rid of before the new ones come out. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif

Great advise Sarah! I have a new consultant that ran into the same problem. She decided to start holding spas 4 months after she signed up and had already given away all of her product guides to friends and family. When she brought to my attention that she tried to order more and they weren't available to order, I thankfully had just ordered 4 more packets and gave her one which she said she would replace when the new ones came in. I'm sure either someone in your unit will be happy to exchange with you or sell youa packet. Or maybe someone on this board. I would start a new post and ask:) If yours are on backorder, just call and see if you can cancel. Good Luck!

I can understand the frustration with not having the catalogs for a few weeks. Believe me, I do. But the flip side of this is what if BC sent you all the catalogs you ordered and then they change in a few weeks? Then you have to deal with the problem of having a bunch of catalogs that don't have all the products in them and wind up trying to remember to tell people or figure out a way to add them or whatever. Just a thought. I know it's somewhat frustrating, but to me when I think about the flip side, I see that they are just looking out for our best interest that way too!

I agree that you should see if anyone in your unit may have some! Good luck and hang in there!

I think I'm probably just going to use Set Sheets until the new ones come in, and I have a few from last year (I'll just let them know that a few prices have gone up).
