I wanted to share some good advice about momentum thatIfound in a direct sales newsletter. Hope it gives you a boost. smileys/smiley2.gif
Like a bicycle that’s stopped on an uphill incline, it takes a mighty effort to get started again. It then takes some steady and strenuous pedaling to get going before we can ride along at a normal rate and even indulge in coasting once in a while. So what are the steps you need to motivate yourself and mobilize those who work in your team or network? Here are a few hints of things you can do to keep your slowdown from becoming a STOP:

<LI>Let go of distractions; turn off the TV
<LI>Go back and review your plan (You do have a plan, don't you?)
<LI>Set priorities, what's one thing you can do each day that will have the most impact on your business?
<LI>Set a goal with a deadline and verbalize your commitment to a buddy
<LI>Unclutter your desk or home office
<LI>Break projects into bite-size pieces
<LI>Use a calendar, write in times to work on your business and stick to these times
<LI>Delegate what you can; ask for help to free you up to concentrate on your priorities
<LI>Be bold and do one thing each day that stretches you - (Remember it's the action that counts, not the result!)
<LI>Sign up for one of our teleclasses to fire up your business again
<LI>Stop procrastinating and just do it now!
<LI>And most important, celebrate your success!</LI>[/list]
