This is the email I received from my consultant...
<DIV style="COLOR: rgb(0,0,0); TEXT-ALIGN: left">
Dear Market Day Gourmet Customers:
As you know, Market Day Gourmet, Inc. ("MDG") started in mid-2004 as a home party direct selling business. Their goal was to grow the new business to become a complementary self supporting company to Market Day. While MDG products have received rave reviews, they have not attained the growth in active sales consultants and party sales required for the business to become a self supporting entity.
I very much appreciate your shared hope, and your involvement with MDG, but I am writing to let you know that they have made the decision to discontinue the MDG home party operations as of August 15, 2007.<A rel=nofollow name=LETTER.BLOCK7>

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center"> CALL ME!!!
You can still contact me anytime before Aug. 15th for your favorite products.
I know that I promised everyone a spectacular 2007/08 Fall/Winter Catalog with new products, but our Director of Sales & our Head of Training didn't know that they were getting fired on July 3rd or that our July 14th conference was canceled.
This came as a big shock to everyone who works for MDG. We were not aware that our numbers were not meeting corporate expectations.
I wish I could tell you that it will all be discounted, but they are not telling us much.
