I participated in a great expo this weekend and got a lot of peopleto register for my door prize. Many of them checked the box asking to be put on my mailing list, or to send them information about our Ministry Affiliate program for their church, but some did not check any boxes....

I'm planning to send thank you postcards to those that asked to be on my mailing list but my question is, do I send them to the ones that didn't ask to be on the mailing list? You know how you get some people who will go around and register for everything when they really have no interest in your product at all.

Do I waste the money on printing postcards and postage to the ones that didn't check the box, or only send to the ones that expressed an interest?

What do you do?

Bev

Call, send, call.

I have an email list. I won't waste money on postage. I only mail something out if I call them first, say I'm soo glad I met you, blah, blah. And if they want something mailed, then I will. I then do a follow-up. If not, my info is lost in their big pile of mail.

Best of luck!

I have way too many leads from my last expo to call them all. I am going to call the ones who requested more information from me on hosting or business info. Then I have a stack of folks who asked to be told about future AHA events and sales via phone, email or mail. I'll also follow up with them, in whatever fashion they indicated. For all the others, most just gave mailing address, not even a phone number. I will print post cards thanking them for stopping and offering an incentive for ordering or booking by a certain date. Because most people said they want to hear from me by phone or email, I only have about 35 of these rather ambiguous leads to send post cards to, so I don't think the cost will be too outrageous to send these post cards.
